Paul has a very unique sense of tempo, sometimes he may add bars of 2/4 over 4/4. In their version of Wake up little Susie from the Central Park concert, he plays some bars of 5/4 and some 6/4 like it's nothing.

Not Art. Art is barely perceivable. Leading is Paul who is the composer and accompagnist. This is normal.

paul is the one out of time there, he's done that off and on since the very beginning. art has no control over what the guitar is doing and where simon comes in and art always thought paul did it on purpose to make him look bad. they allegedly had a huge fight about this in the early 90s that was the worst argument they ever had, it got physical.
