Simon Baker sounds so different with his Australian accent! He's been sounding SPOT ON American all this while and it's become the only voice I can imagine to suit him - he's that good with both the accent and the role overall - tremendous actor.

He is really convincing speaking with an Australian accent or American. For different parts Of America, I think it’s spoken differently.

I love how Simon mentioned the greyhounds and the the checky smile Robin gives him.

I love that his accent is so strong

If you listen to some of Simons acting that he did in Australia before coming to the US you can hear his accent more. Having spent 10 years in the US I think his language has become more Americanized, not so much the accent just the words and phrases that he uses.

I would like to know when they decided which actor would be Red John. Like I don't think they said, ok the sheriff from season 1 episode 2 will be our guy, back during that episode. It was some time later. Does anybody know?

From what ive heard, when they made the list of 7 suspects, they decided who Red John would be.

It changed all the time based on what fans were guessing so the writer kept changing it

The other plot that I can think is that there are 3 red john (3 joker lol)

The only problem that I have with this show is just the ark of red john. they spent 5 years building up and making it the thing the will destroy everything on earth. And he is the most powerful serial killer and out no where Patrick found him like any normal killer and he killed him like a dog. It’s a great show and I like the ending tho.

Wait a minute. Wait a minute! Is Simon Baker related to RE7 Baker's family? He could've been contracting the caduo and is a real psychic for real!

Anyone notice how the chemistry between Jane and Lisbon pretty much disappeared once they got together?

Totally! I watched the entire series on lock down and felt so disappointed with the final series. There was no real spark or real love between them other than that of friends. The few times they kissed was without passion, want or attraction. The wedding and her being pregnant was just wrong. My 2 cents. Still loved the show but end of series 3 with Jane killing the imposter at the mall was the most satisfying for me personally.

There’s a reason most would be tv couples are kept in perpetual will they won’t they land. Once the relationship is established it usually becomes a bit boring for the audience. Having said that I found the Jane on the plane confessing his love moment to be really well done.

You should see the interview on celebrating 100 episode of the Mentalist.. Robyn Tunney Dan Simon Baker decide it they wouldn't make a hot scene in these series because Robyn very closed and good friend of Simon wife and children, makes Robyn feel uncomfortable, and Bruno Heller agree with that. I think their had very great chemistry just by looking at each other, their were loved each other..and a lot Mentalist fans will agree with that.

I disagree. I think the reboot was excellent and the chemistry between Jane and Lisbon deepened. But, everyone is different
