Actually Finland had two things going for them during the winter war . One was Simo Hayha aka the white death and the other was 19year old Lauri Allan Törni . Who the Soviet's hated more than they hated Simo Hayha. Considering the bounties placed on their heads by the Soviet's.

People often forget that a few hundred or so of those kills simo had with a kp/-31 submachine gun, as well as his unconfirmed kills. The grand total is believed to be more like 600-800 kills.

Very brilliant man, it is like he handled the war by himself only,,, salute to his brilliance. Sad to hear about his half face😢😢😢... Respect for him

He was wounded on 6th march 1940 while in close combat against lots of russians.He was shot from close by a russian who was killed after that.During that last battle of his he killed at least 20 russians-.Total number of his kills is impossible to say because he killed also mostly without a witness a lot and also with smg hundreds

Simo had 505 comfimed kills with rifle + 300 kills with machine gun. In hes own notes number is +1500 kills. I met Simo in 1997. Never forget that face. He was a small guy, but looks more dangerous than rambo.
