The shooting prowes of Simo Häyhä always reminds me of my late grandfather, rest his soul. Rest both their souls. My grandfather also practised hunting and shooting in competitions, especially in moose hunting, shotguns with slugs and rifles. He also had a house full of trophies from hunting and shooting. When he passed away, our family also took quite a lot of those trophies as memorabilia. I also remember, when he was alive, our family would often get moose meat from him, because his own freezers were so full of it. My mother would often make meat soup from that milk. I still remember the taste, that gamy, almost metallic taste of soft boiled moose meat.

Nice reaction. Thumbs up! :) Just a few critical remarks about that mini documentary: Despite the facts of the original video seem to be largely correct, I wasn't a fan of it. There are better and more detailed (but similar short) videos about that sniper out there. One completely wrong thing in this video was his injury by an enemy sniper. In reality he was shot in the face by a regular Russian soldier. It's never a good sign, when a whitty jokey-jokey-tone "documentary" shows at large parts the wrong weapons, when talking about the guns he used. Yes, they showed once the correct gun, but in the rest of this video they showed a Kalashnikov AK-47 assault gun that only existed AFTER the war, when they talked about his main weapon. That is a big faux-pas, when talking about a sniper and his gun in a documentary. Further they talked about his kills with a small submachinegun...but were showing at the same time footage of a heavy machinegun, what is a HUGE difference to a small submachinegun. So I rate that history channel, that made this short docu, not very high. They were probably too busy to crack jokes about pop groups etc. instead of showing the correct history stuff in detail. Just to be sure: My critical remarks are only about the original video, not about your reaction. Greetings Mega

@@CeadReacts It's always a warning sign, when "video makers" have names like Weird History or something similar. Mostly they are ruining their videos with unfunny jokes, sensationalism and inaccurate descriptions of events of history. There are other, much better history "video makers" available on KZread. Many of them are telling the story of that special sniper from Finland, too. Only much more detailed and accurate.

I especially love Sabaton's history channel. They have a great documentary there about Simo, the white death. They also have a lot of other worthwhile documentaries that you should watch in your own time, because all of their documentaries are linked to their music. "No bullet fly" is one of their best songs and documentaries. It's really worth a look.
