This video covers a bunch... From building a drift tool kit, to mounting a radio in my car, to running my first 3+ car tandems. In this video you'll semi-meet Chris and Nick, who are 2 guys I drift with a bunch on sim, and this was the first time the 3 of us got on a real track together. Somehow we managed to keep all of our cars in one piece and even attracted a bunch of other folks to join our tandem train, so I think it's safe to say practicing on sim works.
If you are a drifter in the northeast US, I strong suggest you check out Ready Set Drift at Pocono raceway. Since moving to the area they've been my favorite drift org because you get a ton of seat time, you can do tandems without a cage, and it's just a really good crew. There are better tracks out there like Englishtown in New Jersey, but you're missing out if you're not running these RSD events.

My Story *********************
In 2022 after learning to drift on Assetto Corsa, I purchased a 2007 Nissan 350z to start attending my first drift events, and I've learned quite a bit along the way. The community has been great and I'd very much like to pay it forward and help anyone looking else looking to get into drifting for the first time.
