Same! I think there was a Facebook reel with a song that sounded like lazy eye. All the cool kids were all like "silversun pickups!"
I am so happy SSPU still has that romanctic grit. I've grown up with the band like the Harry Potter series. Love you all immensely!
The drums are so on point. Precise and interesting without dominating or being too busy. Beauty in simplicity.
this band is so slept on...I remember hearing well thought out twinkles in a car commercial when I was 14..almost 20 years later here I am.

Frontman Brian Aubert had this to say in reference to this song; Silversun is never going to get that snarky - even on this track, it’s hopefully only going to be in these certain ways when you hear it. I think the connective tissue with this song and the rest of them is we haven’t been trying to beat people in the head like, “Hear us, or here’s our point of view, and here’s what we have to say and you must hear us.” That is not interesting to us on any level as these things mean a lot to us, but they mean different things to other people. People get the general gist of it, the little snark and the mischievous feel to it. This one feels mischievous to me.
