Cool to see them change up the Menu. I saw a documentary in the wild. Gorillas knocked over banana trees and ate the stalks and left the bananas. Kiyomasa seemed to be putting on a show for the kids😂🦍

Just came back from Nagoya and let me tell you, Shabani is a big star there too. There were tons of kindergarten groups every day I was there. Couldn't get close to the windows with all the kids there. They are very loved.

This zoo is totally missing an opportunity for Shabani to have more children by bringing in different females, which would further perpetuate the bloodline. It’s just a shame something can’t be done.

The thing is that his father, Kibabu, had like 17 siblings and 16 kids. So that line of gorillas is over represented all over the world. He was a great father and all his sons are great silverbacks like Shabani.
