Silverado Repair/Build, Part 4.5: Mrs. Mechanic is a Serial Killer!

Well folks, the truck took some damage during that last encounter with the 4-legged morons. We have some additional work to do and although the damage is expensive to fix, luckily it isn't too severe. The most important thing is that the bumper did its job and Mrs. Mechanic is completely fine.
Before anyone jumps on her driving abilities, I will politely ask you to refrain. She is an extremely accomplished and very safe driver, and the deer population in our area has exploded this year because some big predators were trapped last fall. I've hit deer out here before too, and nearly hit one on camera in Part 3 of this series. It happens, we just have to deal with it.
Still on the to-do list are the rear springs and new lift block components, a diff drop in the front, new upper control arms, and now some additional body work in the front (to include some Morimoto XB headlights, which I'm actually pretty excited about despite the cost).
Lastly, I'd like to say Merry Christmas everyone. I'm hoping this holiday season brings you all an abundance of joy and hope. Until next time, be safe! See you in January!

Not just yet. I'm going to have a recap video coming out here in a couple months, just waiting on our new shop to get done. Lots of delays unfortunately.
