Nicely done. Just got done making up a batch myself. That sugar really makes that reaction take off when you dump a whole cup in by accident like I just did a minute ago lol. New sub and liked 💪😎

Silver Mac.Thank you for sub! Sometimes verry scarry and dangerous this reaction. I made a bigger batch in a 2 liter beaker and accidentally erupted in my kitchen. unfortunetly i not recorded this mistake. Stay tuned next video will be silver pouring and a bigger refining!😉

OG Bullion sweet. I’ve got the bell checked bro. I started out stacking then went to pouring then started 3D printing my own molds. And finally to refining. Love it all and love watching all the vids on all of it. It’s truely a great combination of hobbies lol. Keep them coming bro.

Silver Mac are you still making your own molds?

Nice! I'm doing some right now. A few grams of cheap earrings my wife won't notice are gone 😉! But so far all I'm getting is black sludge. I've done this process a few times already. But I wasn't planning to use this method for I planned on cementing out the silver with copper. But I accidentally precipitated silver chloride so I went with the sugar and lime method am I still on track despite my black sludge?

No worries! You can melt the silver oxide easily . I found out with small amounts of silver oxide never convert perfectly to silver metal, so if under an ounce or 2 just melt the black oxide directly. I hope it helps.🤞👍

@@ogbullion so that's what it is? Silver oxide? But isn't there a way to convert that silver oxide to the nitrate silver? I have all the necessary equipment I just don't know why it's not changing to the silver nitrate instead of the silver oxide

@@raymondreyes8046 I never tried to dissolve silver oxide with nitric. Just melt the oxide to metallic silver.

With your help, I was able to extract palladium, now I have some silver sulfide, how to convert it into silver metal, you who solve everything with bass bass, tell me what acid to dissolve silver sulfide in and what to precipitate it with

Boiling hot distilled water dissolves silver sulfite, then add salt or hcl and you got silver chloride.

@@ogbullion Professor, silver sulfide does not dissolve in any acid, neither in nitric acid, nor in sulfuric acid, nor in hydrochloric acid, I have tried them all, it does not dissolve in any acid.

I make silver from choloride using iron ,,i put some nut bolt in silver choloride,,then shake them in intervals,,confirm fist there is no any polish on that nut bolt

Yep its work too.BUT I want to avoid any metal contamination, and if you ratle around iron in the silver chliride you end up iron dust in your silver. And with the lye and sugar method you end ep .999 fine pure product.
