Do you have any references to them? I have no listings for such an old 50 cent being made from pure silver. The release of the pure silver 50c mintage started in 2000 from my knowledge with the 2000 Royal Visit coin (non circulation).

If they are in un-circulated condition then are worth $AUD6, otherwise only face value. - Renniks Australian Coin & Banknotes Values. 31st ed 2022.

Yeah This coin so meaningful and the most beautiful coin Should be worth the top of whole world plus 2$ & 1$ Australian gold coins the most beautiful all around the world.
