I went back through it after, and it was a 1993 (I just read it wrong), which is still a low mintage coin. Thanks for pointing it out anyways.

Wow! 240,000! Excellent find, a bit like the Kew Gardens 50p over here in the uk, only 210,000 but as it was released in 2009, that makes it almost impossible to find

Congrats on the 2019 IRB 50c coin mate. They are so rare to find in circulation as I go through 1-2 jumbo bags every week for the past 6 months and am yet to find any 2019 50c coins.

Thanks. Turns out that the one I said was 1985 was actually a 1993 and I read the date wrong, but it is still the same mintage. Thanks for pointing the 1985 out

Double bar coins are found on some of the 1979 and 1980 50c coins. I've also heard they were on some of the 1966 50c round coins. I made a video about them about a year ago which you can watch here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/o62Vzcqxc5W6Yrw.html

1985? That's a low mintage coin, you should keep.

The 2004 large head 20c is just as rare. I’ve found 4 so far. My most recent one was sitting in the change chute of a vending machine at Melbourne Airport.

I would say if you can afford to keep it, do so. It is relatively low mintage but not as low as some other coins. Hope this helps.

I hope that you went back for the 1985 from the last roll.

Is the 2019 IRB really that rare? I've found 11 of them. I've actually found the JC harder to find and only have 4 of those.

Yeah the values for the round 50c coin fluctuates a lot due to the silver content. It normally loosely follows the silver price.

Yeah I did. Someone pointed it out earlier, so I went back through them and it turns out it was actually a 1993 which was the same mintage as the 1985. Thanks anyways.
