I dyed my hair for decades and wanted to let my gray grow out. But my ex husband hated the idea. After 35 years of marriage, I left and three years later, all the dye has been cut off and I get more compliments on my silver hair than I ever did with my expensive dyes.

I saw my first grey's at 7yrs old. Ran to mommy and told her I was dying 🤣🤣🤣🤣....She laughed so hard she had tears in her eyes..She told me I was dying, but her mom told her grey hair meant wisdom. God, bless my mommy soul because I hear it alot now, that I'm 51 yrs old that I share alot of wisdom with people.

This reminds me of an older woman I saw when I was travelling years ago. She had white curly hair but the way she kept herself she looked so young and when she entered a room you couldn’t help but look! I could tell she embraced her changing hair color and it embraced her right back!

My mother-in-law stopped dyeing her hair when my daughter, her only grandchild was born. I thought that was a beautiful gesture.

I really like everything being as natural as possible. I can’t imagine myself dying my hair so I think if I went grey I would keep it even if it didn’t look amazing like hers

My first gray hair was when I was 23. I was so excited about it when I saw it, and I showed my boyfriend at the time. He freaked out and plucked it right out of my head with his fingers! I was shocked and asked him why in the world he did that, and he was like, “Nobody wants that in their hair.” Needless to say, he didn’t stay my boyfriend for long. 😂 I’m 38 now, and I’d say somewhere between 30% and 40% gray, and I totally dig it.

Hey Ki! 26 yr old Indian here. I'm slightly grey already but I do my henna for the scalp and it's keeping me alright for now. Once I'm more salt, less pepper, I'm definitely going grey. However, I'm a thin wavy haired girl. I watch your channel because my mum has bomb but damaged curls. She never has the time for herself. She's got a good bit of grey but she's also a Kindergarten teacher. I've urged her to go grey because she could totally rock it, but she says her dye job is for her workplace. She's decided to grow her greys once she's retired. And, thank you so much, you do not know the lives you bless with your presence. from what i've seen, us Indians don't really take care of our beautiful curls! my grandmother has such a lovely curl pattern, but she's been brushing her hair out everyday for most of her life. i'm so glad that i have resources now, and can embrace my curls!

My mom when full white by 35. She fought it for years, but finally fully embraced it and received so many compliments. I wish I had her hair! Covid has made me stop coloring mine and at 48 it’s only about 25% gray. My sons call them my tinsel pieces, so I love them. ❤️

I get way more compliments on my hair now that i let the gray do its thing.

When people complain about being gray or getting grayer as they age, I tell them I’ve been gray since I was 12. It’s no big deal, but it does need to be cared for differently.

I have a patch of gray hair in the front of my head and gray strands throughout my head. I love it!

This is my go to video when I can’t sleep or need background noise to fall asleep. The tone of her voice always does the trick 😴!

She has the voice of the kind of lady you would want to bump into at the grocery store and she says "oh that's okay baby" 😂💕

I went through a L'Oreal blonde phase in my 40's, but when the silver started appearing I decided to let it go and see what would happen. Today (at 67) I have silver in front that gets darker toward the back, and I love it. I've totally earned every one of those foxy silver hairs!

This genuienly seems like such a good experience. I’ve grown up in a 90% white town my whole life anytime I’ve ever got my hair done it’s been just damaged and damaged. I have a white mom so she doesn’t really know what she’s doing either the most I can do is watch KZread videos yk. The only haircut I’ve ever had was from MYSELF in 5th grade about 5 years ago😬. Find out the grade of your hair and share the city you are in. maybe someone can refer you to a stylist. My niece has been on her hair journey (white Irish mom and a black dad)She has been struggling for years and finally has build the courage to see a stylist. I think she was jus nervous☺️

My mom's hair is like pretty much white in the front, silver in the middle and dark on the bottom. She stopped dyeing her hair after her hair grew out after chemo. If i had it like hers I'd totally leave it be!

I'm 20 and pretty much majority salt and pepper. I love my entirely silver strands more than anything, I know the things I've been thru to be nearly all grey at such an age and I wear it as a badge of honour. I love your videos!

Omg, she should thinking about not tweezing it out. If it must go, just cut it. Tweezing might take that hair out permanently. And she might be fine with the grey hairs being gone now but later when hair starts naturally thinning she might not like it.

Mom can use a blackstrap molasses mask for her hair and she should also drink the molasses. Lots of vitamins are in it. It can reverse some of the grey. 😂😉

Lord! Bless your heart! Mom does not need to fight her gray hair. She doesn't have to actually dye it all the way. She can get the parts that are gray highlighted. No need for permanent dye which I would never recommend. Gray hair is hard to tend to. At 52 I've learned to how to manage it and tend to it. I have a whole hair regime I follow especially because I get my hair relaxed. Getting highlights lets you gradually transition to gray.

I would get a few wirey white strands every now and then and kinda assume it was because of stress. But over time it's become apparent that it's just the way my body functions and I'm super excited about it because it's actually really pretty to me

I started getting grays at 18, but they are in one specific area as a cluster. I colored them for a few years but now at 26 I’ve decided to just accept it. I haven’t color treated my hair in probably 3 years now. Can’t help genetics, and I’m not ashamed of my gray streak.

I have a streak of gray in my hair as well. I haven’t let it completely grow out beyond a couple inches between dyes. I can’t say I’d “love” my gray patchy streak. Plus the texture is so different. My hair is naturally straight but the grays are squiggly

I'm 35, I wear a short cut and these grays are coming in fast. At least 15% gray already. I haven't dyed my hair yet. I'm not sure if I will. It is what it is 🙂

I'm 27 and 60% of my hair is gray. I tried to dye it but my hair wasn't having none of it. It's genetics for me tho. Alot of my aunt's were gray by the time they're 40. So we'll see if it hits me. I think it will.

Try henna gloss. Turns my gray strands red. I don’t bother with the indigo dye.

If my hair gets this type of gray/silver. I would want to put a pastel super light tint over it. Like a pink or lavender so when the light catches it it will shine different colors. Maybe like a (Moroccan or Overtone) colored deep conditioner so it can be temporary and not damaged the hair.

Her hair looks so nice, clean, shiny, healthy and bouncy....beautiful job!

My hair started turning grey when I was a preteen. I couldn't wait for all of it to go grey/silver. All I could think about was how regal and elegant all of the older ladies in my life looked with grey hair. Here I am in my 40's and I'm still waiting.

I feel like I’d go full gray because I don’t see gray hair as a bad look, I feel like it’s very attractive and shows maturity. I just hope it becomes as dimensional and well flavored (if I may lol) as her color😌😂🤍

I'm almost 50 and my hair is all naturally dark. When I do get grays, it tends to come out after a few brushes. My aunt on my dad's side did not gray until her 70s.

ME TOO!!! I am 59 and I have like 5 grey hairs in my head. My daughter and I take after my dad's side. She is almost 40 and does not have any and most of her friends have a lot now. When my dad was around 65 when he died and he only had a few at his temples...people used to accuse him of dying his hair. My great aunt on his side was still 50 grey and 50 dark brown at 80.

Diamond Pearl, I didn't start getting gray until age 55 and then only around my edges. I don't like that so I dye it black, now age 65 it has just starting to gray all over, I may leave it alone now lol!

her hair is soooo pretty! omg. Just beautiful. Love listening to you talk while working on these beautiful people. :) I used to dye my hair since I got my first silvers in junior high school around 7th grade. (For my family it's hereditary.) I didn't go as dark as it used to be but somewhere in between the darkest and lightest colors of my hair. Once my hair was mostly white in front though, I started lightening the grey hair in the back to match the front. Seeing other women with beautiful, natural hair though... I quit coloring, bleaching, straightening, and heat treating my hair & went natural myself.

I love the stylist’s very slow methodical movements. There such a gentle economy of motion that is so beautifully efficient-like watching performance art. I watch these videos all the time, and they calm my mind down.♥️♥️👏👍

I saw my first silver strand when I was 8. When I was little my dad would tell me it’s wisdom, so I’ve always had a good association with it. And Storm from X-men was always my girl 😆 So I’m fine with my increase of silvers at 33. I love that my hair is Silver and not just grey. Grateful for that 😊

I'm 37 and been praying for grey hair for years! My grandmother's hair was silver and so beautiful and I've admired her hair since I was a child.

Same! I'm 29 and I have always wanted a head full of grey hair! I have a lot of strands of grey in my hair since 9 but waiting on a head full lol Sounds weird but grey is sexy to me!

I am 60 and the center of my hair is salt and pepper. I saw a few grey hair around 50. They are hardly noticeable. So I am good with it. I appreciate how much care you give your clients. If everyone cared this much.

My dad went pure silver white, full head of hair.. my mom went salt and pepper in her late 50's. Now that I am 52, I have white hair starting from temples, so hoping I'm like dad and going to go that thick, beautiful silvery white... I'm hoping any ways, I'm not dyeing my hair. I love that color and style! Looks like she used one of those color kits to get that silver shine, and it is natural and fire!

turning grey yellow?? oh no. I didn't know this. I learn something every time I watch this channel. I swear this is one of the most educational channels out there. This lady has gorgeous hair. I hope mine looks this good when I age.

I was grey at 16 years old and now that I'm 66 it's really white and every body sat its so pretty. It's just like your client there.

My mother is 46 with the most beautiful silver streaks in her hair. It is BEAUTIFUL when the sun hits the strands. My father is 57 and went grey early. He dyes his hair, eyelashes, and eyebrows because they've all turned silver.

If I had someone like you to take care of my hair and help me with my hair maintenance I would get out of these braids and let my natural grays shine through🥰

I'm only 19 and already have a lot of gray strands on my hair, but I don't intend to dye it when I have a fully gray hair. Seeing beautiful ladies like her really inspire me 😍❤️

I'd go Grey. I'm also a licensed cosmetologist who specializes in healthy hair and I promote natural hair! I'd use purple shampoo and rock that Grey ok!

When I had very few silver hairs when I was like 24 - 28, I didn't color them, I thought they looked interesting. Then the gray hairs were more but not enough for it to look pretty so I colored it from like 28 - 42. At 42, my head is like 60% gray hair so I decided to grow it like that. My thinking was many young girls color it gray, I have it pretty gray naturally, rock it! It's been a year and a half and the colored hair is almost gone and I couldn't be happier. Contrary to what is engrained in our brains, I don't look old, I look beautiful and I don't regret my decision. I'm really excited for my new look :)

Grey won't change your hair texture though.

I started going grey in Grade 8 and I have been dying my hair since. Now this last year I finally said I'm tired of dying it and have decided to let it be. I am now pretty much 70% grey at 32 and I'm trying to embrace it. The hardest part is waiting for the grow out process 😭 I hope I have just as nice hair as this lady's. Thanks for the video its keeping me motivated! ❤

I was coloring my hair from the time is was 32. I was probably completely gray by they time I was forty. I have a pixie cut and decided to just quit coloring when I was 59. I just kept getting a hair cut every 5 weeks until I was completely gray. I love it so much. My dad was completely gray by the time he was in his mid 50s. He had gorgeous hair.

I started going gray when I was 14. I colored my hair from then all the way up to March of 2020 when the pandemic hit. Since then I haven't touched a box of hair color at all. I showed my daughter the ombre going on in my hair...we shared a great laugh at how my hair looks LOL 😆

This video was nostalgic for me❤️. My mommy used to roller set my grandma’s hair and she had beautiful silver hair. My mom went through chemo and her hair thinned and grew back all silver. Now I’m getting areas of silver patches. I know what to expect for my hair and totally cool with it. The clients hair is so beautiful and I love the twist out results 😍

Her hair looks beautiful! I've been greying since I was 15 and I have NEVER dyed it. Many older ladies have commented that they wish they hadn't dyed their hair when they see mine. My premature greys came from my mom. She had a solid white patch at the front of her hair from she was probably in her 30s. Strangely though, I found a photo of her when she was 59 and realised that I have way more greys now than her at 59 (and I'm not yet 50).

Your videos are so relaxing to watch. Love your voice, the music, and how delicate you work with the hair. 💗
