Yes it does and so much healthier for the hair. My mom had 6 girls and she hot pressed our hair every two weeks. Hair was down our back. Hard to find that today.

A stylist that knows how to whip hair into submission with a old school hot comb is a rare blessing . You are almost as extinct as the milk man. Miss this soooooo much ❤

Way better and quicker to make. I'm only just concerned about all that heat, if it does weaken the hair, especially the flat tonging.

Good to know that you listen to what your clients want because you recognize their individuality. I preferred your choice and you did a wonderful job.

This is flawless! They don't make stylist like this anymore! I love a old school silk press! 😍 you did that💯💪🏿

Those curls were BOMB, the whole process was AWESOME! I always watch when I get my hair done and pressing it before definitely helps.

You truly are a gifted hair artist. In looking at the video I was thinking when you used the hair dryer that it wasn't blowing hot air out because your client didn't flinch due to the heat burning her ears yet the way you blow dried it with that detangling brush and the way that it stretched her hair pretty straight at that point was awesome.

Love, Love, Love. My mom use to hot comb my hair when I was a kid. She also used the same method that you used to detect the heat. My mom used anything white. She used tissue, paper towels and white clothes. You did an amazing job.

thank you for your video. Love your use of the hot comb to get the edges well. I went to someone who did not do that and would often burn my thick hair with the flat ironing.

I still suffer from 'hot comb trauma' from being burned periodically as a child when my mom would wash & press my hair every weekend. That's the biggest reason that I haven't been to the salon consistently in at least 20 years. My hot comb trauma' has evolved into 'curling iron trauma!' At any rate, the woman's hair looks nice & healthy & has lots of body. You're an awesome stylist who obviously takes special precautions not to burn her clients...👍 🦋🌹
