I started my custom clothing business with the very first silhouette Cameo, lasted my 9 years till i upgraded to the Cameo 3, over the years of researching cutters, I realized when you want to start a business over spend and ge the best out of the gate, this is the reason why I couldn't scale my business and couldn't get out of the hobby stage and into the full time business, the cutter but more importantly the cutter motor being the bottle neck, all cameos, circuits and brothers have a Stepper motor, loud, slow where Saras Graphtec has a Servo motor more Commercial in design, a lot faster, quieter, more precise and much better stronger blades then the craft type cutter, moral of the story if your serious in starting a business don't hold off, pull the trigger earlier it will definitely pay for itself a lot sooner

Can’t wait to see what you decide for printer options. Have you looked into tank-type printers? Not sure if they print any faster than the printers you currently have, but they do eliminate the plastic waste from cartridges.

I have tried tank options in the past with no luck! I'll keep you all posted if anything changes!

I’m so happy for you! I will be very curious to see what options you can find for printers. The university I worked for had printers that cost over $100,000 each. Certainly, you won’t need anything that advanced, but I know new printer will be another pricey investment.

@@MamaRhiPlans That copier did everything except brush your teeth and scratch your back. There was always a line of people waiting to use this copier because it could print 40-60 colored copies per minute. (It took slightly longer for double-sided printing.) I cannot imagine the labor savings involved in using this machine. You would have thought a rockstar had been installed in our building’s mailroom. Everyone had to come and take a look at it and watch the user tutorials.

Glad it was helpful! I usually check the first few cuts and then pop in every 20 or so to make sure it’s still going good.

Are you still able to design and print in Silhouette Studio or do you have to do everything in Illustrator now? Converting cut files sounds like one thing, but having to convert every single sheet you have sounds like an absolute nightmare! Also less than half the time to cut a sheet is AMAZING. Thanks for showing the comparison!

The registration marks are different for silhouette and the imark software. I’m having to reformat all my files to accommodate the new cutting machine. It’s not as bad as it sounds but it’s a gradual process!

You could add another Graphtec without the auto feeder which is "only" approx. $1300. It would be similar workflow feeding the Silhouette 1 page at a time. Just a thought.

tell BS that peeps can buy all those beautiful stickers because we do have budgets! No buyers remorse here! 🤣🤗🤩😎

Hi! First of all thanks for the video, lots of helpful pointers! Today I got my CE7000-40 with an F-Mark2 feeder and I did the setup and basic calibration, but I've got a problem. The cuts get slightly inaccurate and misaligned towards the edges of the media (around the center of the sheet the cut is better but not perfect). I'm currently cutting on the A4 sticker sheets with a registration mark being 56mm (~2.2 inches) from the edge (I've entered it correctly into Imark software). I'm also running the offsets on 0 as it's not the same misalignment everywhere. I'm trying to cut 8mm (~0.3 inches) circles in a grid. I would love to hear your opinion as to what could be the cause :) Thanks for your help and your video :)

Did you try using the mat with the feeder? Will that work? just wondering if it can use to cut through the thicker materials.

What is the biggest size you can cut on the graphtec?

Does your A5 sticker kits fit the EC A5 ring binder?

Yes! The page sizes are the same for the binder and coil with the exception being the monthly view kit. Make sure to select the ring / binder option for the monthly view!

It doesn’t! You’ll have to check cuts and change out the blade when you notice it’s not cutting as well.
