I absolutely love the ES mat. I mostly cut 61# matte photo paper but I have also used 80# cover cardstock and it has worked wonderfully. Plus, no curl, no sticky residue and way less time. I was also happily surprised that I could do such intricate cuts on it.

I've used my ES mat a few times now. What I've noticed is it needs a completely flat surface. It came disconnected after a couple uses because of a small dip in my table I didn't notice. Once, I forgot to change the regular mat to the ES mat on the program. It worked fine and cut even better. Fixed my mistake and noticed it takes a little more blade pressure when using the ES mat. Other than that, it's been fairly easy to use. I've cut thin wrapping paper and up to 80 lb cardstock so far. Just using an autoblade at the moment. Also tried some gel pen sketches on it. Wasn't sure if it they would work ok with it. So far no issues. I agree it might be better for those who work with delicate paper, or stickers. Things that rip too easy on a sticky mat.

I ordered my Cameo 5 as a bundle from Swing Designs and purchased the ES mat as an add on. I will say, the mat was perfectly flat and arrived exactly how I would’ve expected it (no folded parts, creases, or wrinkles).

THANK YOU!!!! I have been struggling with why my bed would not properly load wiht the ES Mat. I had reached out twice to Silhouette America support asking about the issue. I had given up and was just about to return the Mat as I couldn't get it to work when I saw your video with the SIMPLE solution of checking the far right roller guide. I am estactic that now I have a working ES Mat.

Are they going to make one of these for the cameo 5 plus? And do you know when the cameo 5 plus is going to be available to buy?

Does anyone notice the cutting area is noticeably smaller than 12". Is there anyway around this issue?

Does work on vinyl shirts?

Does anyone know if you can use this mat for other silhouette cameo machines aswell ,like the 3 and 4 ?

No, it only works with the CAMEO 5

Warm flat press for about 5-10 seconds it will flatten out. Towel on top and bottom to be safe.

Hi, great video…Is there a larger ES mat for the cameo 5 plus?

No, the 12" is meant to be used with the CAMEO 5 Plus

You could use it for die cutting stickers, yes.
