My dear friend, this is truly an inspiring video to experience. It's absolutely soothing and relaxing to watch and let the experience speak for itself. @@Hikaholics I think that these are the most beautiful Alps, as you approach their peaks they look scary and beautiful at the same time. This Cadini di Misurina trail is something special and one part is extremely dangerous because there are no cables, but one of the best trails I've been on.

Having watched both packing lists and this lovely summary of your walk, happy with the gear you took? The size of the backpacks, any changes you would make?

Hi Michael! Yes we were very happy with the gear we took. We only got rid of our micro spikes halfway. Size of the backpack was more than fine, we could even go smaller if we wanted. Next time I (Deen) will take a less thick baselayer top, this one was too hot for in and around the huts. Alette is considering swapping her Sawyer Squeeze filter for the Katadyn BeFree. But overall we wouldn't make any big changes. We have the Kungsleden in Sweden coming up next month and there we will bring some warmer gear and we aren't sleeping in hut this time, but we are camping. Really looking forward to that trail as well. Hope this all helps? 🙏

The video is really nice. Would you mind sharing how you plan the itinerary? How you estimated the time for hiking to the next hut and how to book the huts?

Hi Eppie Lee, sorry for the late reply! We we're hiking in Sweden and not online the whole time. We booked most of the huts via www.montourdumontblanc.com/fr/index.aspx This site also shows the estimated time to the next huts :) Hope this helps?

Enjoyed that. Where did you stay overnight? Did you see much wild camping? How was it for food supplies?

Thanks!! We only stayed at huts and the names are in the titels during the video. We saw a couple of people wild camping, but there are a lot of camp sites along te trail. Same for food supplies, you pass a town almost everyday and on the days that you don't, you will find a lot of places where you can have some food or drinks. Planning to hike the TMB as well?

We didn't book via an organization, but what we can recommend is going the TMB Facebook groups. I will link a big one, and in that group are people talking about going together, organising groups themselves and also recommending organisations: facebook.com/groups/MontBlancTour/ Hopefully this helps a bit!
