I just built a server in one of these cases and it turned out great. I actually added a 3.5 inch drive cage on top since I didn't need to use the 5.25 drive bay. I have 10 drives running in it using a Gigabyte Micro-ITX MB and an i5 processor. Best investment ever and I highly recommend this case.

Hey, how are the temps on HDD and CPU when all HDD bays are filled
This looks like the best, cheap tower storage server case you can get
This is a great case. I built a streaming pc in this case and it was very easy to build in. It used high quality materials, and it’s quiet as a whisper.

Any issues? I've been keeping a close eye on this case as an upgrade. Right now I've got an Antec Three Hundred U3 which has been very solid, but it won't accept a lot of graphics cards these days (they keep getting bigger). I love these cases for their grown-up and functional designs with solid steel construction. They actually consider I/O and expansion allowance, rather than slapping a solid front panel on there and calling it a "design".
Amazing video gonna buy this case after this great video!
Great video. Love the music. Just discovered you recently and thihk you have a top drawer channel. Paul

Agree completely top notch work that deserves more recognition!
Thank you for the video, there were some things not very clear in the online store photos and I needed to know before I bought
Great build. What if I want a glass side panel for it?
Clean as! Well presented as well👍

Reminds me of the 'i' from the pixar logo were the lamp sits on it.
can the drive sleds fit adapters to store two ssd's? I understand that these are out of the box ready for 2.5, but I'd like to double up some 2.5 ssd's in some of the sleds.
Fantastic build fams
Would this case have space for a one or two radiator cpu water cooler? Or is it meant to be used with cpu air cooling?
hey I'm thinking of doing a build with a Fuma 2 but I really wanna go all out with RGB and have a good looking build. Any chance you might do an RGB build with a Fuma 2 sometime? One idea I had is to get a Phanteks Halo for the front of the cooler, but I'm worried the extra 6mm would have RAM clearance issue with the first slot. Do you think there's enough room to add a halo to that cooler without hitting the RAM? Doesn't look like it on this build, but maybe other RGB RAM would work? Anyway you do some really sick AIO builds so I'd love to see that level of aesthetic love given to a high end air cooler like this one.
Fantastic build fams. Case definitely reminds me yonks ago
Great build
Hey great video. can you review the HS70 PRO WIRELESS gaming headset from Corsair
I liked this video so much, I hit the like button twice
This is definitely it, Chief.
Qtn: does it compromise on thermal performance for gaming ??
Can this case fit any RTX4090 card only removing one HDD cage?
can the side panel be glass?
It's a shame you don't add like 4 or 5 HDD's in there to test how quiet it is with HDD's in it. Because of the amount of bays it does look like an amazing case to add drives into for a DIY NAS buid. However, I cannot find any reviews on the vibration of the HDD caddies. This is often overlooked when cases like these are reviewed because non mechanical parts are being used only...but as DIY NAS is a serious option, the caddy noise is an important go/nogo factor. For instance, the Fractal Define R5 is mentioned everywhere to be whisper quiet...but none test the HDD and I have added 5 in there and the caddies vibrate like crazy....would be awesome if you could run a test on this as well.
beautiful~
I spy some rgb 🤣🤣 Great build, great video as always
That ram.... moist.
Just got one to build an unRAID server. Looks just the job. Thanks.
I am considering buyin this case next week, but I have a problem. Antec says max GPU: 270mm. My GPU is 276 The GPU you put in there is according to specifications: 279.85 mm from gigabytes homepage. I am confused because it shouldn't fit since Antec states max 270mm. Could you clarify this? possibly by measuring it It would be absolutely lovely. It would be really bad if I buy the case and im missing 6mm clearance for my gpu :D PS: Antec states the following which is clearly wrong as the numbers should be reversed. Max GPU Length ≤ 450mm (With HDD Tray) ≤ 270mm (W/o HDD Tray)
@DoomGuy-161

Clearly its a typo from Antec as they've got the figures the wrong way around. Without HDD trays would mean more clearance, not less.

@@DoomGuy-161 Already got the case :) Love it and there is ample room for my GPU :)
Neat. But those Katanas deserve a nice show view. 🤩
this case is best for workstation / server / NAS build
That thing has an optical drive bay right?

Bell squad wua?
Build doesn't make sense if the hdd drive bays are not populated fully. I think that's the feature this case actually boasts. Good review tho, im picking one up for my home file server! Thanks!
Here's a video idea for you, do a build in an Antec Super Lan Boy case - the glory days of Antec case design. ;-)
Please do a review of Be quiet pure base 500, or the series. Thanks for great content.

it quiet because sound dampening foam on the case door. honestly, it made me super surprise when it even make a screaming arctic freezer esport 34 duo become quiet at full load while gaming. at least as long as you not open your case.
God damnit! I went to check out the SSD, got distracted for an hour and ended up shopping for parrots.
Nice Build, ey hahaha!
NOtification SQUAD !!!

Hey Nik, you do a lot of varied themes and work with a lot of different parts and components. Would you ever consider doing a list/review of your favourite cases to use or build in?
@GearSeekers
4 жыл бұрын
I usually do "my favourite case of what ever year it is" at the end of the year. We usually do a Computex case round up in Taiwan too but obviously it got canned this year. It's a good idea though. I'll put it on my to do list.
I assume there is vent on the bottom for the PSU fan to blow since there does not appear to be one in the plating above it. Always thought it was silly to flip a psu upside down like I see many cases do nowadays. Pretty the airflow was meant to go up and out the back of the PSU vents since heat rises so flipping a psu upside down is errrm wrong if you think about physics and the intended airflow. Course I'm from the old school where psu used to be in the top of the case to begin with. Great looking case I just ordered one to rebuild my 4 drive NAS pc so I can double it 8 very excited for this thing to show up next week.
maybe he can explain the reasoning behind using custom sleeved cables in a build without a transparent panel

@@GearSeekers Yeah, supply is really screwed up that only overpriced 3rd party sellers are left with stock :(
79C idle is just way to high not to mention the workload temperatures. No thanks. The P10Flux might be a better choice.
Build a silent PC and didn't test the noise level???????
Antec Katana Ram...Kinda Sexy

This was a "build"? I didn't even see how hard drives are inserted / orientated. No help to me at all as a buyer looking for a functional case.
@GearSeekers
3 жыл бұрын
You put them in. Done. It's not rocket science. If you're building a PC and you can't put HDD in, you've got bigger things to worry about
@Perplexer1
3 жыл бұрын
@@GearSeekers They can go in in two ways. Back to back or front to back, the latter was apparently some idiot's idea since it requires you to open BOTH case panels to insert and then connect a hard drive (I can only assume this case uses this option). Twice as much work, especially if you're adding or removing drives semi-regularly. So there's a big difference there in whether a case is functional or just a pain in the ass, and it's something that matters to some people! For example, this is a functional HD orientation: i.ibb.co/8jn2Pv5/2.jpg while this is NOT: i.ytimg.com/vi/d6s8CF2A5-0/maxresdefault.jpg
Fractal did it first

The many drive cages are a waste these days.
