In "Ground Fighting Seminar" (clip) Alvin teaches from Phase 1 of SBL being Ground Fighting / Defence. There are 4 animals styles in Phase 1 but here only 2 are used primarily Kucing (Cat) and Buaya (Crocodile). Kucing is used here to move around opponents, striking from the ground and also used as set up for Buaya techniques. Buaya is used as a way to grapple opponents either by crushing, suffocating or smothering them.
You can now come and experience Silat Open Circle in person at one of Alvin's SBL seminar. Seminars are open to the public, martial artist of all levels, both male and female.
