The nine realms : - asgard : destroyed, it’s shards still spread across the realms with undead warriors wandering them. - Vanaheim : housing the remaining asgardians with a growing relationship with the Vanir. - Midgard : flourishing without the endless winter and hordes of undead, with raiders becoming rarer and humans going out of hiding. - Svartalheim : the realm is surrounded by uncertainty, with a lack of leadership and guidance and old wounds or tyranny still present. - Helheim : the realm of the dead has now entered its new state of order, causing for hordes of undead to become rarer. - Jotunheim : unknown, still devoid of giants. - Alfheim : the elves are making progress towards peace, becoming one single people beneath the just rule of two of different factions. - Muspelheim : unknown, still on fire - Niflheim : unknown, still frozen This is more like six realms now with Asgard being gone and the realms of fire and ice being pretty empty of anything. Realms of bygone Giants, prospering elves, flourishing humans, peacekeeping gods, freed dwarves and orderly dead.

Well I have a feeling once Sindri calms down both him and Durlin could become leaders of the Dwarves/Svartlheim. Muspelhiem and Niflheim didn’t have a civilisation to lead therefore no war which means no need for peace. Those two realms are too hot/cold to have people living there. Jotunheim however if Atreus finds more giants they can have a home their with Angrboda

Basically one or more of the Jötunns are trying to summon the great old one in an attempt to use them as form of power source for a perfect resurrection spell. Also in this case Cthulhu is a god to earthly gods such as kratos or in this case Atreus and the Jötunns. The kind of camera they used is something you put in a survival horror game. The story wasn’t that great ether. They completely wrote out Loki from Norse mythology. I know they put a spin that kratos son is loki but that was awful decision. The least they could of done is expand on the shapeshifting skill and give him transfiguration of others. If they did a dialogue about Sindri? Mimir: Sigrun, I may already know the answer to this, but I must ask. Has there been any whereabouts on Sindri? Sigrun: I'm afraid not, Mimir. There's no sign of him in any of the realms. It's as if he just completely vanished. Mimir: Aye, after what he's been through, I'm afraid there's nothing left for him here. Other places beyond Midgard do exist so it's possible he may have started a journey elsewhere. Kratos: Regardless, we must leave Sindri be. He is walking a path he must do alone. Wherever he's at, he can take care of himself. Mimir: You're right, brother. I just miss him. Kratos: We all do.

Kratos would have died, and then a couple or few decades later, an adult Loki would revive him or find a way to bring him back. It seemed super cool, and they could have made it so that adult Loki was actually the father of Fenrir and Jörmungandr, and time travel stuff could have still happened. It could have been him that blew the horn while Kratos was underground. We would have also seen that classic badass “destroyer of gods” that Loki would have inherited from Kratos. We needed the Trickster God but we didn’t even get Loki being even a little mischievous. We could have gotten split personality Loki, which seemed to have been another direction they were going to take, seeing that Atreus didn’t remember that he killed Modi.

Jotunhiem is nothing more than a grave yard at this point. Thanks to Odin and Thor. Niflheim only had four residents. Tyr, Sinmara thr ravens and the raven keeper. Tyr was freed from his jail but Sinmara ....she's in bad shape after Kratos basically sacrificed her husband for Ragnorok. She asked sigrun to join the shield maidens/valkyries, kratos says she is a good fighter, to which sigrun says that she will look into it more now that kratos recommends her.

All this happiness and progress would mean nothing when Set headstomps the realms. Imagine the next game where it begins with Kratos in Vanaheim during an massive invasion of outside forces. Kratos and Freyja fight through the legions until they find the Valkyries, all slain with their wings ripped off, execpt for Sigrun who is on her knees - bloody, burnt and beated in a fair fight by a powerful god: SET. Set examines Sigrun's helm with admiration until Kratos and Freyja arrives on scene. Set just fought all the Valkyries at once and solo them all without even trying. Sigrun was one the toughest bosses in gaming; If this scene is next game in some form it would show us how overpowered Set as a boss would be. It would be funny if Set became horny for Freyja during combat, refers to Mimir as “the lastest victum to Sigrun's thigh squeeze”. It would be chilling if Set said he remembered he had a pair of chained blades like those one but gave them away to Ares. Set the God of Chaos was the OG owner of the Blades of Chaos? Scary. Set: “What goes around, comes around. Eh, Kratos?”
