I’m doing the moving on without moving on and having small talks with my ex and it’s weird I don’t want him back but if he did that be cool too. I'd really like it if there was a video on when your contact with your ex is face to face only. In person. Coaches always bang on about texting and so on. My ex and I work together. That is our ONLY contact. Lots of hot and cold going on - he is avoidant. But I'm not sitting around waiting for texts, SM posts etc, because his rebound made him block me on EVERYTHING. So our reconnection was and will be through real life contact.

Wow! I have to see my ex on daily bases too! In 7 months of break up he keep contact , while being with other girls, he has been with a few rebound relationships during this time, all too soon after I left him. His last attempt was trying to get in touch with me while traveling with a girl for holidays!! So I told him: “why do you keep texting me while you are with your new toy? You should have told me, so I wouldn’t keep on texting you” . He got pissed off, telling me that he never treated a date like a toy, that he’s respectful with women! So, how can I define all his mistreatment during and after the relationship? So. We have to work together! I still have feelings for him, but after that we are not texting again. At work I don’t say hi or bye, I never exchange anything with him, I don’t even look at his eyes. Unless is necessary. I love him, I know that, but he doesn’t take care of his mental health. I don’t know when I can start being friendly with him, I have never had this situation.

I have just watched this and my Ex is currently doing 4 of the these (there are also 3 that aren't applicable to our current situation), so hopefully this is a really positive sign that he still cares, and that I may even get him back (fingers crossed)

My ex said that he doesn't hate me, he just fell out of love with me. What does he mean by that? We message each other almost every day, he refuses to talk to me via phone or meet up with me. He said it's easier this way. It's been 8 months since we split up (even though it feels longer!) & I asked him if he's sleeping with anyone. He skirted around my question & didn't give me a direct answer, by saying that if he said 'yes' I would go off on one & if he said 'no' I would call him a liar! I know for a fact he's probably having no string sex as he won't be able to go this long without having sex, which really upsets me thinking about him getting intimate & having sex with someone else. Is he enjoying it, more than with me? Is he doing different things with her than with me? Is she turning him on more than I did? I can't bare thinking about it! If the answer to all of my questions is 'yes', then I probably won't get him back.😭💔

Hi me and my ex broke up about a month ago due to him losing feelings however he wanted to stay friends but that didn’t end well, it ended with him blocking me on everything apart from text msg. After that we started to talk less and I begged for him which I shouldn’t have. I started the no contact rule however I had to end that because I tried to take my life and ended up in hospital closely to dying. Which he started to call me and always msg me begging for me to stay alive. I’ve recently told him that I don’t want to only talk when I’m sad and I want to stay friends where he which responded with I don’t know if I want to talk more because it’s always when you are upset, I told him I will change because I only can help myself. We continued to speak that night and I msged him in the morning telling him I have help now. He hasn’t responded it’s been about 3 days and I’ve re started the no contact rule, my stuff is still at his so I’m not sure if he will msg me. Do you have any advice? Thank you

I know it's easily said but give him and yourself some time. You will both figure things out naturally. Maybe you have a hobby or something you really enjoy, keep on doing that. Talk to your family and close friends you trust about your feelings. I feel you and I wish you the best. My girlfriend I have been with for 5 and half years broke up with me one month ago. We are all sitting in the same boat, for some the waters are just more tough. Just stay strong and give yourself time. I wish you the best.

@@Kylie-if6zo I feel you, it's a tough time... Stay strong, go outside and you know... do things you enjoy. Maybe alone, maybe with friends. For me, I have bought a camping chair, packed my headphones, went into a nice park I really enjoy and started drawing people. You will maybe meet new friends and enjoy spending time with them. Just give it a try, maybe do it again and you will see. It's absolutely okay to feel hurt yet don't neglect your life. You as a person (even tho I haven't met you) are worth loving and enjoying your life no matter what. This isn't about your partner at this moment in time, it is all about you. If you need someone to talk to let me know. I am going through this aswell and I can only tell you, it only get's better with time.
