First, I love this video so much! Have watched a TON of relationship coaching and you’re definitely good! This content is gold! The *only* thing I would add is that I think there is a valuable step missing from the progression of communication levels. Probably somewhere between “honest opinions” and “virgin ground” but also maybe right after “stories.” I’d call it “shared memories.” Some kind of “inside joke” or connection point you both know belongs to only the two of you. Yes, I do this with friends. And colleagues. It is a level of intimacy that shows the 2 of you actually do share an experience no one else has full access to and does create some kind of “bubble” where you both feel kinda at home. When an ex starts communicating in that space - or when you go there and they follow - something meaningful is brewing. And it’s a good sign. Thank you for your content!

I have the ungettable qualities. I think that's actually what scared my ex away (we're lesbians). I think it made her feel insecure though it's no competition and I love her as she is. But if you don't love yourself, it's hard to let another love you. She's dismissive avoidant.

I've said this. My avoidant ex has me blocked on ALL forms of communication/SM but we work together so ALL our interaction (or lack thereof) is face to face. They also ALL work on the premise that because my ex is avoidant, I must be automatically anxious. I'm not, I'm secure! It also focuses a lot about personal growth following a break-up. I'm confident, intelligent, successful, in good shape and all that stuff already. Nor have I put my life on hold. So what am I meant to do?

My ex never saw me as needy or insecure. When he wanted to end it, I agreed and walked away. Each time. It’s happened 3 times. The only thing I guess I have working for me is no contact. Butt again we are on our third round of this. Not sure this will work again...
