I love these videos but I decided to shed some more light on this as well. Starting with Season 1, You can tell that Ladybug aka Marinette, found Chat Noir as an annoyance. If anything, Ladybug mainly treated him as a partner and nothing more. However, in Dark Cupid, Ladybug knew the only way to break the curse was that true love's kiss would work. She used the excuse she was 'saving' him but that would mean any kiss could have easily break the spell. But it would also mean that it was a chance it wouldn't have worked. If Ladybug didn't have feelings for him then, the kiss shouldn't broken the curse since Dark Cupid's powers had a fairytale weakness to it. Not to mention, that was a pretty deep kiss for a kiss to save someone. It was almost if she enjoyed it. So it might be possible, Ladybug have already been in love with Chat Noir but maybe she was in denial about her feelings because of Adrien. Now going forward, now the episode with Glaciator, you have to remember the expression Marinette had when Chat Noir first has taken her to show her the surprise he made for Ladybug. Her expression as she clung to him and wasn't disgusted if anything, it was more like an expression a woman would have been held in the arms of the one they loved. I think she felt bad, but at the same time, her feelings for him was growing because she saw a side of him that she never knew. As you pointed out, Ladybug's nicknames and physical contact increased, at first she would always make an annoyed face and seemed to brush off his advances. But, you can see that the more they spent time, her feelings for him changed. Then remember at the beginning of Frozer, when Chat Noir expressed his feelings with the rose, remember what Marinette told him? She said she couldn't imagine her life without the guy she liked being in the picture, but she never denied or disregarded the idea of being with Chat romantically. Over all, I think that Marinette has both feelings for them just like how Adrien is going to develop feelings for Ladybug and Marinette. I think the reason the process of them not knowing the other identity maybe Master Fu wanted Ladybug and Chat Noir to grow to love each other both with and without the mask. I believe their love might be the key to defeating Hawkmoth later, even Master Fu said that they were made for each other. Perhaps, he is waiting for the moment for their bond to grow stronger with their love before allowing them to reveal to each other. It's a theory, but it makes sense otherwise, why Master Fu keep it a secret when both owners are working together? I can understand why he would hide the fact his friends are heroes since it might effect him in some way knowing they will be harmed. But I think it's a plan that Master Fu has that is connected with their bond, just like how the butterfly and the peacock work together. After all Ladybug and Chat Noir Miraculous has always worked together as well, but there is alot we still don't know and what power they can create when placed in the right hands.

I think Adrien has a CRUSH on Mari, but is IN LOVE with Ladybug, and Mari has a CRUSH on Cat Noir, but is IN LOVE with Adrien. Edit: I’ve come back to this comment after watching season 3 finale. I saw a theory recently that said Mari and Adrien need to learn to love themselves before their relationship can work. They need to stop putting the other person on a pedestal (as one of the replies to this comment put it). Well I recently realized, HOW COOL WOULD IT IF THEY HELPED EACH OTHER?! Like, Adrien worships ladybug and Mari worships Adrien, so how cool would it be if Chat Noir helped Mari and vice versa? WE COULD GET SOME SERIOUS MARICHAT AND I FEEL THAT WOULD WORK SO WELL!!

so Ladybug and Adrien are putting each other on a high pedestal, meaning that they block away their feelings for the alter egos and are completely blinded bye their "Love" for each other. A bunch of other fans have noticed that their feelings are only infatuated with each other , which hey basically Admire each other (basically puts them on the pedestal like I mentioned earlier). So, now we have to wait until they realize their feelings for their true selves.

I think Cat noir has really grown on Marinette. Since she realised his feelings are real she has taken him so much more seriously, which has made her more conscious of him. I believe she needs to love cat noir so that she accepts him whenever and however he gets revealed. If she didn't like cat noir, she would falter on finding out he is Adrien. That's what I think at least.

Also about the "kitty" nickname, in French the translation "chaton" is a very common nickname between lovers or two people who are super affectionate with each other

I just watched your video on how Adrien is developing a crush on Marinette and I think that the show is definitely doing this intentionally. Hmm they don't realize their feelings for the alter egos, and Ladybug and Adrien are not in love with each other more like they put each other on a high pedestal that they don't really realize their feelings for each other's alter egos, and this is why Luka and Kagami are in the show so Thomas Astruc is basically testing their love. There is this song that Christina Vee sang I think it was for the Christmas special,and she sings,"She doesn't know that she loves him".

Also in Glaciator (I'm sorry I dunno how to spell it XDD) when Chat arrived at Marinette's balcony she did seem surprised at first and a little hesitant,but she let him stay. And she opened up to him about her love life (so did Chat) and yes,you would think that "That's what everyone does," but you have to have a lot of trust in the person if you were to tell them something like that! And she moved even closer to him and they both looked at each other (mY FaVoRiTE sCeNE aHHH-) and Chat took her to the place where he and Ladybug were supposed to meet and he prepared everything she looked amazed and she felt sorry for him when she turned around ,you could see her hurt in her face and she tried to say sorry through her actual self. And as you said,when Chat left her at her balcony once again,she said she saw him a bit differently. my otp 😫

Ok so for everyone who’s confused for why people say “Chat Noir” not “Cat Noir” here’s why: So as we all know, MLB is set in Paris which is in France, and because Adrien/Cat Noir is masculine (a male) people say “Chat” because it means Cat in French that’s why. If Cat Noir was a female, or when lady bug and cat noir swapped roles, Lady Bug would’ve been known as Chatte Noir, because Chatte is a female cat in french. I personally prefer to say Cat Noir but it’s your choice on how you say it, hope this helps!

Yah that is true. Chat Noir means black cat, which is why in origins episodes part one Nooroo tells hawk moth that it is the earnings of the ladybug and the ring of the black cat. I am nerd who mesmerizes a lot of lines in episodes. Sorry. Not sorry
