I used to always attract #2 dudes. I used to start off so chill & humorous trying to come off like a cool girlfriend, but really was very deep sometimes & when I brought it out, dudes would always clam up. It would end with me feeling like a master locksmith trying to break into a bank vault door just to get them to open up. After the last #2 dude, I was more real & honest about what I was looking for. When I met my hubby & we were on the same page of "looking for something real & no bs" I was so relieved. So just be real people, if that deters some people then they were the wrong people.

All true and gutwrenching when you were married for allmost 20 yrs. and he started doing this for the last 5 yrs. bc it was easyer than solving our problems together through talking and planing and acting together on them. I'm tired of onesided attempts to save a relationship he doesn't care about. I hope I'm strong enough to carry our boys to adulthood without them learning and accepting the his behaviour as normal.

It's possible they may have had this information used against them by a former partner, maybe just introverted like that, it could be a number of reasons.
