I just wanted to add in the wooden doll room 53:45 you can walk slowly around the room anticlock wise, without alerting the enemies to get the doll. And in the serpent ring room walk slowly left without the light on till you get to the ring, then use your light to pick up the ring and run back to the door on the right (whilst turning off the flashlight.) And then as you re enter the doll room you wont aggro them and can walk slowly to the door on the lower right. That is much safer than running through both of them like in the video, if it's your first playthrough like it is mine.

Tip: You can use L1 (PS) to melee with a thermite and burn the enemies without shooting them in the first boss battle. Save ammo.

I attempted a speedrun a week after the game came out, just start to finish for the special ending, and it took 3 hours. I predicted it could be done in maybe 2 hours. this is even faster than I thought. Good work!

Thank you for the help I just got my plat! A tip for people that are doing this as their second run: you can get a secret ending by collecting three keys throughout the game and it’ll skip the final boss fight with Falke. There are a few tutorials here on Yt on how to do that and it was perfect for me since I’m kinda bad at survival games and the Falke boss fight is hard

I personallly did the Artifact ending as it skipped the last boss, only takes a bit going out of the way to do it, some places can be done without running to sustain less damage as well.

Great guide, until I started watching it I was totally unaware that enemies could be shoved to save ammo my mind was blown. Gotta say tho that was definitely the fastest I’ve rounded out the missing achievements in a game.

Really good tutorial, the game is awesome and had some very good puzzles. I love some old school survival horror, but even then i had to look up some stuff. lol

Great guide, needed a change of pace after a month and a half of playing Starfield lol. Also saw this game was leaving GP soon but only could find solutions for pc and using console commands. Honestly playing this game legit barely took much extra time anyways and I didn't mind it at all. Thanks for your efforts was very helpful, got a new sub here no question.

That first part of Nowhere is an absolute clusterfuck. I died once doing that, so I went to the classroom save room before trying again. I almost died in that general area several more times.

For anyone stuck on the first two bosses, equip a thermite, run into the boss spamming L1 or LB and the boss will be instantly killed with a single thermite This works on the giant mech suit boss and the cage monster boss, hope that saves you ammo and time! ❤

A KZread video called Mynah quick kill shows it in action, works on all difficulties, apparently thermite deals unlimited damage, so it kills everything in the game if equipped except the final boss and I believe one random enemy in *nowhere*

At around 54:40 ish i just wanted to say: Your radio was actually working against the enemies in the room, it just wasn't playing the sound on the radio itself. note how the enemies still scream when you tune to the right frequency. that's why it only took one tuning to kill them when you re-entered. also, general tip for everyone: enemies detect you easier when you sprint, or have the flashlight turned on. sometimes its better to turn it off so you can walk past enemies easier. you'd be surprised what you can get away with. save every once in a while and do a "i dont care if i die" run where you just push limits on stealth and experiment with what you can walk past.

Very helpful, but I'd recommend using the flare gun and stun rods in some rooms it's worth it imo and it just takes a 2-3 extra runs to the save room .

I believe the in-game camera is meant for the blank key puzzle and the planetary puzzle on Rotfront so you don’t have to use an external tool to beat the game.

You have completed this game rather quickly, but it is probably best to delve deeper into it and explore the various aspects. I am not sure what specific conditions are required to obtain the different endings, but I have spent more than 24 hours playing and have achieved a rather normal outcome for the "promised" ending. ✌

I spent a lot of time with the game, I don't expect everybody to use this video in the same way as one another. Just adapt the video to how you choose to experience the game ;)

walking will work to keep you from getting noticed in a lot of rooms.

I suggest whenever you have an opportunity to save, do it. Been killed so many times because of the janky interact prompt on doors and items. Sometimes it appears, sometimes it doesn't. Can be very frustrating.

playing along here in 2024- looks like the amount of healing sprays and patches has been severely reduced throughout the game. only 6 orange sprays throughout the game were present in my run, and very few patches. this might affect strategy- and I believe the best way to help healing economy is to collect disposable stun rods even when the guide says to leave them- you will need them in the gank rooms in order to avoid being hit multiple times and needing to heal.

Yeah I was about to say... This dude out here finding repair sprays left and right, but there's hardly any for me.

cheesing a survival run with the debug menu on steam didnt work so i have to do it legit and this guide is really helpful. i just wish you could have shown safer methods like for example taking a few stun rods or a fully loaded shotgun/pistol since there were cases were there wouldve been enough room for at least one weapon. but this is a speedrun after all and i did eventually figure out the best loadout that suited my play style albeit after a couple of deaths.

weird, I immediately get damaged to "danger" level when I get hit once from "nominal" in the b5-8 levels, whereas you seem to only get tickled, it's like you're not even playing on survival. Maybe because I haven't died 16 times during the first boss fight, since like you said there is a certain dynamic difficulty in place, so since I haven't died that much the game is therefore much harder? I'm only using this guide to speedrun through the survival difficulty, since I did all other achievements and lore exploration on another run. Did I somehow stab myself in the back by not dying to the boss then? Absolutely love the guide tho, greatly appreciate the explanation and quick to the point-ness of this walkthrough!

Yea that maybe exactly why, you can do so anywhere though. Just keep dying until your modules are filled in and you should be the same then. i think its like some sort of assist mode, like the more you die, the easier it gets, it adapts to how bad you are xD. Up to a maximum of 16 i guess

Were you aware that you could skip imputing a password into the Nowhere doors? For example, this door at 53:40, can be entered by just pressing your face against the metal and looking at an angle to the left of the keypad. I’ve found this works with most of those keypad doors, but decided to put the passwords into them anyways. Hope this info is useful.

I’d also like to add that the eyeball camera thing actually has the perfect amount of slots to take a picture of each door code for the doors I had just mentioned. That’s it’s only use though, it mainly gives players some reprieve in case they don’t want to use outside resources for the game.

Anyone else got a bug with the last trophee achtung I just finish the game and unlock other trophee but this one remain lock.

At 1:27:00rotfront says its dial is missing and I can’t turn it (figured it out apologies)

This game can be a tad moronic when it comes to responsiveness. You unlock a door and try to move through it only for your character to stand there awaiting a blow from behind. How difficult is it for a developer to program the unlocking of, and traversal through, a doorway?

One Word: WALKING, Sneaky And Running, PUSHING, flashlight Turn Off, Bactracking 2 Rooms to Reset the enemies Positions If Need To, When All fails Waiting Wait(Bosses well final One i ran out of ammo because i didnt leave a space for the Spears b4 Entering el Paciente En Camilla XD), And Beer.

Are any of the trophies related to collectables or missables or do you just get them naturally by playing? Kinda wanna do a blind playthrough first but the trophy descriptions give little information.

Everything is story related except 5 trophies. 2 of those trophies are for dying 16 times. 2 trophies are for obtaining 2 missable weapons. These 2 weapons are the Revolver and Rifle. If u look at my linked text guide and look at the first mention of those via find function, you can see how to get them The other trophy is Survival difficulty

So when I run into an enemy... I just take a shit ton of damage. In survival I can only be hit like 2 times and the 3rd kills. So... anything I shouldn't be pressing when running into an enemy? Like does running hinder it and should just walk?

@Optinooby I figured it put. There are two buttons for running. O and R2. If you run with R2, you push. Run with O and you just walk right into free damage.

Can someone please explain to me why every single enemy I aim at the x never leaves the box the box never shrinks... I'm starting to honestly despise this game

Is this a PC thing? I have seen it mentioned in the steam guide but my game (PS4 version) has no mention of "inventory options". I'm using the same settings as Opti either way.

My Elster doesn’t seem to push away the enemies, I just run into them and get heavily damaged
