I hate the "brostep" (dubstep) influenced "commercial" dnb. Its just way over the top and too dirty sounding.

no it isn't. have you ever heard that? how can you confuse that sample with this??? one sample from Lyn Collins' Think (not as clear like in Squarepusher's Come On My Selector), the other is a micro-sampled dnb beat, maybe from James Brown's funky drummer, not sure but it's PRETTY SURE it's not the Amen break at all. p.s.: the Come On My Selector have the Amen break at some point too. the Lyn Collins sample is in the start. you can compare the two different samples.
