Thank you! Yes you're right it is not really essential because most of the time the subject won't be moving for macro shots but still useful when using it for other things.

Hello Wera! Love the haircut! and love 70mm lenses, so excited to see this review! I actually meant to ask you about your website, I truly like the design of it. The image quality is really nice and under 500 is pretty good compared to the Sony and Canon prices. The look is very sleek, nice to see how Sigma keeps improving the look of their products.

Your review of this lens is THE ONLY ONE that shows that its possible to do beauty photography with it. So thanks a lot. I wanted a lens to do beauty shots, but didn't want the 105 macro, as i already have the 105 1.4 ... So the 70 was my choice, but i really wanted to see close up portraits with it. Now i know, thanks again !

I expected the photos to look good but the video samples with the girl in the forest look fantastic too!

I plan on using this lens with an adapter on the M50 mkii. Can't wait.

i adore lenses like this one! That's because I love close-ups very much and yes, indeed the lenses I have doesn't allow me to get as close as I would love! The only con about this lenses is that they look very big and I am not a fan of very big and heavy lenses, for me the smaller the better but I guess we cannot have it all right?

It's honestly not too big compared to some others :)

Its like its older brothers the 70 and 50mm, where these lenses shine are Studio Product and flat Reproduction work. Just Manual Focus them !

Yep, it is very cheap all things considered!

Das Objektiv ist sicherlich gut, aber ein bisschen zu teuer; das eigene Sony 90 mm oder 105 mm ist besser.
