how about noise when focus is in auto mode? i have this lens with a7iii and when shoot video in AF C mode is noisy

It's not inaudible, but I didn't find it too bad either. There are significantly louder lenses out there, such as the Sigma 18-35 or the 70mm macro, where the noises can be truly bothersome. Would you say it's disruptive and noticeable in recordings?

Hello ! I have this lens (new from 2 weeks ago) Does your lens make internal noises when changing the aperture? (from the ring or from the camera itself) Mine makes small noises in photography mode (they are not focus noises) but in video mode I noticed that it makes almost no noise (they become imperceptible) having continuous focus and auto iso and changing the aperture throughout its range

I'd like to help you out and test it myself, but I no longer have the lens - however, I don't recall any exceptionally audible noise coming from the aperture. Does the sound resemble a light clicking?
