In this video, I do a quick demo of how the adaptive cruise control (ACC) works in the Telluride. It works very similarly in other Hyundai/Kia/Genesis branded vehicles. However, our Telluride does not have the Highway Driving Assist feature (my 2022 K5 does).
Overall, this system is calibrated excellently! But always remain alert regardless. I have noticed sometimes it will try to take exits on the highway by itself… (my K5 doesn’t do this - it’s even smoother in its ACC operation).
In addition to this, I also do a quick start-up/walk around of the vehicle and drive it in the rain on some backroads. Telluride is quite capable when taken off the beaten path.
