Your sunnies aren’t mentioned in gear list. What do you find works best , in particular colour lenses and what matches best.

It doesn’t get better than this bream session! Well done, Bream Master! The resin heads are really versatile and the lighter weight/slower sink rate is often a winner when lead jigs don’t attract the fish. A really good and worthwhile item to have in our tackle boxes!

For someone who has fished the world for marlin, massive bluefin in Canada, trout in Tassie i was not surprised to hear that Bream is still your favourite quarry, cos i feel the same sentiment when it comes to Bream as a sport fish even though flathead from an unpoluted body of water is my favourite chew.

Absolutely love the casting to bream stuff unfortunately i live on the wrong side of the great dividing range in southern NSW so dont get the chance nearly often enough to chase them but still love it never the less. Thanks for sharing.

Very challenging conditions indeed Starlo,,,done well to catch em, bright sunny days make it super hard,,, they are so spooky,,, I often have them swim out to me to say hello as if to let me know they can see me. I use 2 inch zman bloodworm grub on lightest jig head I can cast (and Sfactor of course) and skip cast about a meter away from them. I tend to concentrate on the shallow inside bends as they seem to like to sun baking and feed along the shallow edges and hang out in the snags. I only really fish deep in winter. The spot you were fishing along the cow paddock towards the two big gum trees and the mid stream snag to the island is thick with fish. On a cloudy/drizzly early morning, they're a fish every cast through there. I'm getting a sore arm just thinking about it 🙂

i love using shads and deep diving minnows for Japanese black bream on the reef. Theres a chance that u catch other species as well like small groupers and even barracuda. Last time i ran into a cuda with my bream setup, was lucky to hand him with 10lb

Fishing my old stomping ground, Steve. Know parts of that river like the back of my hand and caught plenty of bream there both shore and boat based. My favourite spot was one the old timers referred to as 'the Right Arm'.

Yes, it’s tough with GoPros. I’ve tried polarizers but they just don’t seem to do the same job as my Mako sunnies. To be honest those fish on the flats were REALLY hard to see.

Geez too bloody cold for me down there Starlo. It’s been blowing a gale here in Darwin since Xmas but managed to get a fish in of the beach last week. Got a nice black tipped reefy plus a few whiting and garfish. Black tip was lovely. You need to get some sunshine your legs look like white goal posts haha 😊

Another great video Starlo and the perfect follow on from your last Bream video. I share your bream passion and I'm envious of the opportunity to fish for those large Eastern States bream. Our WA bream in the Swan River are much smaller. Although we can get some lunkers down southwest in the Blackwood and Kalgan systems, they're a long drive away. I love those jigheads you are using, lots of possibilities. Where can I buy some?
