What makes your videos so great is you always talk about what is good about the firearms, but also talk about their cons without bashing the firearm. thanks to you hickok45, i purchased this carry sig. I absolutely LOVE IT! After 1000+ have had no malfunctions. Great vid keep up the good work.

Picked up my Sig P320 compact last week. Put almost 500 rounds of different ammo through it flawlessly! This gun feels absolutely perfect in my hand. The trigger is also excellent and not bad stock sites. I have tried the comparable Glock, S&W, and Springfield to me this gun was better in every aspect. Absolutely no complaints. It shoots true and straight and quickly. As always great video Hickok45! Keep up the awesome work

Hi Hickok, thanks I have seen a great many of your videos in the last couple of three weeks. I want to give a word of praise to your videographer for some nice work. Excellent!

Getting my first handgun. I'm getting this one. Feels great in my hand. It was a toss up between the compact and subcompact, but I'm leaning more for compact despite it maybe harder to carry concealed appendix. I like how it fits in my hand and I like the extra capacity though.

Hickok45, First off, you are the man! Thanks for a great review. I purchased my Sig 226 back in Aug 1996 and it has been my all time favorite gun. After watching your 320 review (full size pistol) I ordered it [P320 Compact] sight unseen. Sig Sauer always has great ergonomics and are a pleasure to shoot. FYI, removing the "gun" from the lower receiver makes the 320 a breeze to clean. I spray and wash the "gun" and then wipe down the interior of the lower receiver and it's done. Sig may not always be the first but they do it right. Keep up the great work! Thanks, John

Love my P320 Compact, once you made the full size video and praised it fairly well I looked into the compact. As soon as I held it, I knew I needed to have it. First firearm purchase and definitely not my last, here's to a lifetime addiction haha!

How does it feel concealing wise with the compact ? Does it poke out your shirt or pants ? I want to get a nice compact that will hide on my side, not poking out or causing a scene but concealed for wherever I want to carry

I own several hand guns and if I had to pick one it would be my Sig.

I carry the full size and i love love love it. I haven't had it very long I've put about 2000 rounds through it and never had a malfunction. And you're right as soon as I held that thing at the shop I was sold almost immediately. It just feels so good in my hand. I looked at a lot of handguns before I decided and I haven't once looked back.

hickok is one lucky guy getting a chance to sample all these handguns and give informative reviews without seeming more pro or con. Just gives the facts!!!

Fun video. It is always a good day when I can watch someone having that much fun. Since I really like my SIg 2022 in 9 mm I do find this interesting. Very good shooting at a fast pace. I understand the concept of the system. I seem to have more holsters every year. Some work, some are adaptable, and some are better for different seasons of the year. I am soon transitioning to smaller options due to hot weather.

One thing you can't even compare between Sig and glock or smith and Wesson is quality Sig is made sooo well, whenever I pick up my shield (which I love) I realize why I own my P226 for the range instead of a full size glock or M&P (nothing wrong with glocks) but when you own both you realize why Sig costs more money....it's worth it. Thanks again Hickock!

Nearly 3000 rounds through mine and it's running like champ! I love it. I had one stove pipe with cheap steel Wolf ammo around 500 rounds, besides that not any other FTF, FTE, or failure to fire. I'm more accurate with this pistol than any other in my collection! I bought some Trijicon night sights for this gun about 6 months ago... have yet to put them on because the stock sights are so easy to pick up and deadly accurate. I can keep a nice 3 inch group at 50 feet through a whole magazine, with fairly rapid fire. Really can't go wrong with the P320c

Then the salesman asked me if I was a rewards member (It's a credit card and if you spend 500$ within 90 days you get 60$ rebate back in the mail)I signed up for that and he took and extra 10$ off at the register and brought it to 509 plus tax. He told me at first it was 70 back but was mistaken and i wasn't worried about it cause it was such a good deal anyways with the 60 back but he stuck to his word and took the extra 10$ off

My first and only gun is a Glock 19 which I LOVE❤️ But I’m considering this Sig for my first carry gun and I went right to your site bc I sure trust your judgement on this gun. The gun misfiring concerns me too, my Glock has never once jammed. Thanks again! 👍

When you test the P320 Sub Compact you should try and get the whole gun instead of just the conversion kit. The Sub Compacts are shipping with a new style trigger designed to fill the hole just above the trigger and alleviate some of the complaints about trigger discomfort. You should also try out the larger grip frame module on your P320C to see if that improves the feel for you.

I have the P320 X compact. Night sites and flat trigger are awesome!

Shot my new P320 compact yesterday. 125 rounds of brass and aluminum case ammo. No malfunctions whatsoever. Very accurate for a 3.9" barrel. It likes a 6 o'clock point of aim which I like. The trigger works good, short pull and quick reset. The gun feels good in the hand and at point of aim. The P320 comes with a medium size grip module. It feels a bit big in my hand, I'll be ordering a small grip module when they come available. And yes, it pinches my trigger finger also but, it's a Keeper!

Great Vid! Love all your Vids!! I own the Sig Sauer P320 Carry 40cal, and LOVE IT!!!!!!!

I just picked up the P320 Subcompact in 9mm. It was the first and only one my LGS has gotten. It felt pretty good, even though it was the small grip. The trigger is very nice for a striker gun. The reset is very short with just a hint of take up. Mine came standard with Sig Light sights. I don't think I have seen a negative review on this gun!

I have a Sig P320 Compact FDE and Glock 19 Gen 4 FDE. Both awesome guns, think I prefer the Sig a little more because of the awesome trigger.

Just shot my new Sig P320 compact. Put 200 rounds through it so far without ANY hiccups. It's very smooth and feels well balanced. This is the first Sig I've owned and I'm very happy with this purchase. I got nice shot groups from 25 feet and it felt very good in my hand the whole time. I'd put it right up there with my Walther PPQ in all categories. 👍👍

Great review as always. When I get the email notification that you've uploaded a video I get very excited. I would like to see a review if possible of the p320 in .40 cal. Also I know you love the beretta 92fs full size, they make that in a compact as well.

Hickok45 thanks for adding to the first review of the P320. I bought the P320 in the 9mm, Carry (Compact) configuration. Recently bought the conversion kit for the full size .40 cal. ($320). What an accurate, reliable and enjoyable pistol to shoot. Felt recoil/muzzle flip for a .40 cal is very, very controllable. The conversion kits are great, especially since I live in the Peoples Republic of Commifornia. This design allows me to purchase multiple calibers and sizes due to the modular design. Funny, I didn't think about comparing the 320 to G19 until I saw this video. I opened my safe and did my own comparison. IMHO, Sig has one upped Glock with this pistol. I've only fired about about 1000 rounds with the P320 Carry 9mm and it's like the Ever Ready bunny, it just keeps on going and going without any issues......... I have three Sig subcompact conversion kits on order : 9mm, .40 & .45. Delivery is scheduled the last calendar quarter of this year.

I got mine 2 months ago and absolutely love it. I got in 40 S&W. My wife and I have put 750 rounds through it without issue. She loves it just as much as I do. I guess it doesn't hurt that she shoots lights out with it. I can say enough about it, just waiting for the FDE grips to be widely available. Great video and great shooting as always Hickok.

This gun is still in running for the Army's replacement of the M9. I hope Sig wins the contract. It's such a good and versatile pistol, and aftermarket products for it will go way up!

Yeah I saw! The MHS version has a manual thumb safety, the slide and grip are a new shade of brown, and the slide seems to have a cutout for pistol red dots to mount on. There's a picture of it on Sig's facebook page.

That may or may not be the case. If higher ups decide that they really like the P320 they may change over pretty quick. And now that Mattis is at the helm, he may circumvent the politics and bureaucracy and make the services all switch right over. Depends on whether HE thinks that would be a good thing, though.

I'm hopeful that we'll see companies making aftermarket products for it. Being the new official US Army handgun is probably going to boost market demand immensely, so businesses will start making stuff to sell all the new P320 owners. The fact that the grip is not serialized leaves room for a lot of affordable creativity. Just imagine what Magpul could come up with! They could make grips that take different mags if people don't like paying $40 for mags, they could make carbine stocks that would still take the same fire control group, they could make grips with integrated lights and lasers, all kinds of craziness. I'd be satisfied with cheaper mags. My P320C came with two 15 rounders, but I'd like to get one of the 12 rounders to use with the subcompact frame for concealed carry and maybe one of the 21 rounders too.

THIS P320 IS A BEAST! I have shot over 4k rounds of the cheapest/lowest quality ammo I can find. Just to see if it truly does "eat" everything like I have read. NOT 1 malfunction at all!.........wish I could say that for my glock 19 gen4 and smith and wesson m&p 9.

The P320 is the Glock killer that Sig has been trying for and finally made. Hickok45 isn't going to change his preferences any time soon, but he almost admits it here. The trigger on the P320 bests any Glock on any day of the week. I've made the switch and am happier for it.

MrJunyah2002 500 rounds is a bit early to make that kinda commitment. You shot this thing for an hour and decided to switch your preference. Makes me wonder what you based your previous preference on. If you had said 5000 rounds I’d take it more seriously.

Ended up buying 3 guns from buds today. .great store friendly staff. Some of the best deals around. .so they sold 3 guns today for showing there support to the Hickok45 channel. Because at the end of the day that's why I went up there.

Hello hickok, I have always been a sig fan but when I started watching your chanel a few years ago I decided to take a look at glocks. I was one of those people that picked up a glock at my local gun shop or gun show and just didn't like the way it felt in my hand. I couldn't understand why anyone would want one. Well after watching about all of your glock videos I gave one a try and love how well I shot it right out of the box. I still didn't like the feel in my hand much but I could shoot the thing very well. Now the sig p320 compact comes along and I pick one up and man it feels good in the hand. I watched your review and you had a lot of good things to say about it. I am skeptical about switching over to the p320 after I jumped into the glock system and have many now and like you have many mags. But I just can't stop thinking of how good the p320 felt in my hand. I guess my question is, do you think that there is any chance I would regret buying one even if I ended up sticking with my glock? I value your opinion, heck I guess that's why we all watch your videos. thanks and keep those reviews coming. (Joe, from Auburn Indiana )

+rp wakefield You said yourself that you love the way the 320 feels in your hand compared to a Glock. I doubt you'd regret buying one. The groovy part about the 320 is it shares mags with the P250, which means you'd have an excuse to also put a P250 and lots of extra mags that will fit both in your safe. There's room in the world for both Glock and Sig.

That's my first gun! And seeing it in your hands really shows me how HUGE you are hahahah Mine feels sooooo good in my hands, I'm gonna shoot it for the first as soon as I can, but I'm sure I won't be disappointed. EDIT: Mine has the upgraded trigger, it's lighter and takes away the "drop problem". Plus, the trigger pull feels so smooth and the break and reset are great

I also have a Sig Sauer P320 compact in 9mm it feels, look, shoots great and the trigger is the best part the take down is also really simple absolutely love the p320. I did have one malfunction but that was out of 650rounds of ammunition i just tapped, racked and bang continuously shot like a champ all over again.

Nice looking gun! Love your range, it looks like a ton of fun!

Getting the word out for the 10mm P220 would probably be the first step towards building up enough demand to get them to make a double-stack 10mm model, or even a 10mm version of the SIG MPX SMG (there are still professional agencies that use the 10mm version of the MP5, which is no longer being produced by H&K).

I have recently switched to a P320C after 13 years with a Glock 19 as my primary carry gun. I had some good times with the Glock but it has now been sold and I have no regrets. The SIG P320 performs.

Just got my first Sig p320 with Wilson combat grip fits to the hand excellent, shot multiple brands from hollow to fmj with no issues thus far keeping oiled an clean she’ll ring out shots all day.

just like Hickok I have the full and the compact. No question about it, top tier pistol and every bit the equal as the best in their respective categories, and at a price point on par with the rest. I'm looking forward to the .45acp variant.

Thanks, Hickok for your reviews. I would like to suggest you check out the Hi-Point carbines. Inexpensive, yet many who shoot them say they are underrated. I believe you have mentioned doing this in the past. Again, thanks.
