Sometimes i like tp turn off the radio and just listened to the environment. Makes you realize the genuine horror it would be to live in such a reality.

I think that was the intention bc you can't hear mojave music radio or new vegas radio in the sierra madre, but after OWB it seems like the devs forgot or couldn't deactivate the mysterious broadcast

everytime im in sierra madre i got creeps when i listen that ambience
I used to hate this DLC so much, but when i just experienced the ambience, and took my time to learn the story instead of rushing through dead money, I grew to love it quickly… I Never could let go of the Gold though.

true, the story was amazing, which makes OWB and DM my favs out of the four DLCs
"Begin again.."
Played this for the first time a little bit ago, I streamed it to a few friends and I could not stop talking to myself because the ambiance of this dlc genuinely unnerved me. The distant radio music was haunting.
Call me a masochist but I loved everything about this DLC. The gameplay, the narrative and characters, all of it. its peak for me. Especially with survival mode on. It opened me the world of survival horror games and I didnt even know I could like Silent Hill or Resident evil, for example. I prefer to play it after honest hearts and old world blues and before the lonesome road.

Preach my brother. This DLC gets so much shit from people who can't handle anything without their broken weapons and infinite stimpaks. I've read negative reviews from people who played through the whole thing without realizing they could shoot the fucking speakers
Is it a bad sign that I find this cathartic?

Not at all. Personally it makes me feel rather nostalgic.
Fellas, anyone else get the feeling you're being... _watched?_
It’s humbling to play Dead Money, but at least I know that Light Touch and Melee perks will make the journey easier, especially Them’s Good Eatin’. And of course, this dlc is perfect for maxing out Agility and breaking the economy once you get all the vending codes in the Sierra Madre. The cherry on top is walking away with all 37 gold bars. 😎
I enjoy doing my work with this playing in the background. Really soothing in a way, and always reminds me of the first time playing this dlc. A time where, I could only play after getting back home from school, around 6pm. Staying late until 11pm was really scary when I got to Dead Money.
Love this! I find the whole place fascinating. Especially the Ghost People. I wish we could learn more about them. What we do know though, is absolutely horrifying and I love it. Mwahahaha!
It has an atmosphere that reminds me of SIREN and I love it
So many of your views are just gonna be me listening to this on loop.
Hands down best DLC of the game, I dont care what anybody says.
I Left My 💘 In The Sierra Madre
I hated this DLC, until something snatch. I think ive grown to love hp lovecraft e horror stuff...then I realize that this dlc is pure GOLD, blood horrific gold
Thank you! ♥
This is the best ambience in any Fallout Game, only con is that the gameplay sucks donkey balls.
Tierra de los Muertos
didn't know the ambience was so creepy. really hated the gameplay of the DLC, but the atmosphere was terrifying. like ghosts from the pasts. hostile ghosts
