Modulations at acceleration (from my analysis):
1. Asynchronous: 100Hz
2. Asynchronous: 300Hz to 325Hz
3. Synchronous: 11 Pulse
3. Synchronous: 9 Pulse
4. Synchronous: 7 Pulse
5. Synchronous: Wide-7 Pulse
6. Synchronous: Wide-5 Pulse
7. Synchronous: 5 Pulse
8. Synchronous: Wide-3 Pulse
9. Synchronous: 1 Pulse
On the deceleration, there is an additional Synchronous 13-Pulse mode before going to Asynchronous.

Filters applied: Low-Pass Filter (5 kHz)
Recorder: Zoom H1n
Inductor: Cochlear Nucleus 7 (CP1000) [in Telecoil mode]
Inductance: unknown (presumably more than 100mH)

Modulation is surprisingly similar to CR400BF.
Wish I could identify the pulse pattern but I need the waveform for reference!

The pulse patterns are written in the description box
sounds like the 1st gen Acela Express even though both of them were built by Alstom & Bombardier & I'm not from the northeast US nor have I been there

Those ones use Alstom GTO-VVVF, this is Siemens GTO-VVVF.

I actually attempted to record it, though it is quite hard to do it because of the noise by the inverter and the overhead power lines. Additionally, there are already recordings out there.

@@firetraxxms4 you know, you can try it on the end cars in the outer areas, maybe it works there. I myself also had some issues but figured that out

@Myron0117 That’s where I attempted to record, but the main problems are the overhead power lines messing with my recording.
