SIEMENS EuroSprinter and VECTRON at Railroad Crossings! HUGE COMPILATION!

Ғылым және технология

Welcome to another compilation of railway journeys with trains pulled by Siemens EuroSprinter and Siemens Vectron electric locomotives. EuroSprinter, also called "Hussar", and Vectron are very popular multi-system locomotives used to pull passenger and freight trains.
Siemens EuroSprinter, which in Poland received the designation EU44 and EU45, are modern and versatile locomotives, playing a key role in the European railway system, thanks to their ability to work in various conditions and on various power supply systems. EuroSprinter locomotives are used by many European railway companies, such as PKP Intercity, PKP Cargo, Deutsche Bahn (Germany), ÖBB (Austria), RENFE (Spain) and others. Siemens EuroSprinter is used both for passenger transport on long-distance and fast lines, as well as for freight transport. EuroSprinter locomotives can operate on different traction voltages (1.5 kV DC, 3 kV DC, 15 kV AC, 25 kV AC), which allows them to be used in different countries without having to change the locomotive at the border. On the night of 28 to 29 May 2009, during tests on the Central Main Line, the tested locomotive broke the speed record for a train consisting of a locomotive and wagons on Polish tracks - 235 km/h. A locomotive from the ES64U4 series (later delivered as ÖBB 1216 050), on 2 September 2006 with a test wagon on the new Nuremberg-Ingolstadt section between Kinding and Allersberg stations on the Autohof Hilpoltstein section at a maximum speed of 357 km/h, set a new world record for locomotives.
Siemens Vectron locomotives are becoming increasingly popular on the rail market, thanks to their reliability, versatility and ability to adapt to the specific needs of operators. Like EuroSprinter locomotives, Vectrons are used by many rail operators throughout Europe, including PKP Intercity, PKP Cargo, Deutsche Bahn (Germany), ÖBB (Austria) and many others. At the end of June 2012, the electric locomotives received the first permanent approval for the rail network in Romania and temporary approval for Polish and Swedish railway lines. Vectron received permanent approval in Poland in September 2012. Siemens Vectron electric locomotives are generally adapted for a maximum speed of up to 160 km/h. The electric locomotives can be adapted without major modifications to a maximum speed of 200 km/h.
I invite you to watch and by the way, thank you for all the comments, thumbs up and subscriptions 👍
PS. There is another Siemens vehicle in the film: Siemens Desiro Classic (VT642).
