Siegel Suites in Las Vegas, NV - Extended Stay Hotel

Today I'm fulfilling a request from a viewer, thank you so much for the request! I'm so grateful! Address is 2000 Paradise Rd, Las Vegas, NV. It's right next to the Strat which means seedy area, but hey, who's judging? Let's take a look eh?

North Las Vegas isn't the best place to live but the locations of other ones is also kind of rough. Holiday Royale on Paradise is super busy and lots of traffic and crime there too.

lol I'm only watching because I'm interested in moving to vegas and know I need to stay in a weekly til I get a job, but the first two cars you walked by tell me everything I need to know about this place. The first one doesn't have a plate and the next car has its backwindow blown out lol

The cars in the parking lot at the Holiday Royale actually surprised me. My BMW was not the only one. There was a guy with a $60k Mercedes drop top staying there once (it was a new). I've seen other expensive fancy cars too. This particular Siegel Suites is on MLK Blvd. It's in North Las Vegas which is pretty sketch, but it really didn't seem all that bad to me (I didn't notice the cars you mentioned). If you can find a room in a house, the landlord might not care if you have a job or not. Then again, if you stay in a decent Extended Stay like the Holiday Royale, you can have your independence which is nice.

Lots of old air cons in Vegas. But they get the job done! It's not a big deal. When I stayed at Holiday Royale on Paradise, I complained about my old air/con because it wasn't cool enough. The next day they installed a brand new air conditioner. Boy! It was much better, and so cool!

Sorry brother, no extended stay hotel has $1k per month. Even the Holiday Royale was charging me $1200/month which was pretty cheap. They come fully furnished and that price includes everything like cable tv and internets as well as water, sewer, trash. They also collect your mail which is useful because it can pose as your legal residence until your get your driver license.

Yep! I lived here last year, and just payed for the first month and worked that first month and the next month I paid up another month of rent, I will say if your going to do that find you a job that pays weekly; like UPS, FedEx and Amazon those places will have you working like crazy especially UPS they always do bonuses for people that come into work everyday on time and stay longer,

@@alijanes2016 Thanks you dear for your input. I just moved to Vegas and looking for place to rent from December. For now iam good. As far as work is concerned. Nope I will never let anyone ever use me to pay me peanuts. I work smarter now. I find ways to make money work for me. I did UPS in New York.. you work like crazy then end of the week peanuts in your bank account. When you think about that it doesn't make any sense to work harder to make more money. Reason why as human our time as well as energy is limited. If you work for $13 an hour for instance, how many hours do you have to work a day on the job to make $1000 net pay a week? See that's where you realized it slavery. You work hard as fuck but you will never get ahead. the little you make goes into bills that's it. And even though you save it means comprise your safety and live in the hood in terrible condition. then you save a penny. Well how long will it take for you to have $10000 saving $150 a week? it will take 1 year and 5 months wow not worth it to me. But you can make $5000 a month profit with a business. And worst case scenario will take you 6 months to make $10000 saving. Thats worth it.

It's not bad for a first timer. You'll learn alot about the renting process. Extended Stay are actually much more flexible and easier, no background check and you can go month to month. A regular apartment is much more strict, will force you to sign 1 year agreement, background checks, paycheck stubs, they want everything. Extended Stay hotels don't care about such things and they come furnished with microwaves and beds already.

When you consider the fact that it's furnished and it also includes everything like electricity, water, sewer, trash, and other stuff, and goes month to month it's actually not that expensive. If you take a regular 1BR apartment and add up all the utilities and furnishings like couch and tv and whatnot, it's actually much more expensive.

@@mahadragon my friend average price for a 1bdrm apt in Vegas is $725 or so in a average neighborhood. So with utilities about $900@mo. A 1bdrm at Siegel runs almost $1300 bucks. They want like $335@wk. And there is a lot of crime at these properties. All you have to do is look at Yelp and new articles about the weekly/monthly No Credit Check places like this .
