Golden Ridge Legendary fish this week y’all is Sidewinder starting off with baits I recommend corn or artificial corn on #2/0 to 4/0 hooks and for lure I recommend worm on #2/0 to 4/0 jighead 2/3 speed jigging now for the time of day I recommend fishing from 12pm to late evening. Just some heads up y’all sidewinder wasn’t a fast bitting fish this week I had to restart the game once before and then he bites instantly so try that sometimes if no bites. Lastly rod set ups are the level 35….44/55lb baitcaster rods paired with the 44lb mediator reel all in the shop for credits. Gl y’all.

Thanks for showing the spot I got him with the Chief Consul rod and True Mediator reel with 30kg monofiliment line and a 2/0 jig/worm Drag set at 35% going up to 40% when he slacked off my line Got him on my second try.....broke my line the 1st time I find it way more fun to use gear that makes me work to drag the fish in 😀

You’re welcome and well done on catching so many legendaries so far you got this. Just an heads up some legendaries like sidewinders will be a pain so be sure to try all the possibilities to catch him.

How long were you fishing before you hooked him on? Been fishing 10 mins and he hasn’t bit I’m using size 3/0 and worm

Around almost an I hour then I reset by restarting the game and he bite.

@@zackgordon8173 I also mostly just pull the rod up whenever he tries to take the line out because he can't take as much as fast and it tires him

Got him on my line with minimal tension on the Gaureiher Rod and it snapped. Any tips?

Sounds like a glitched that happened to me before I would recommend using the strongest braided line you have that can fit the rod most likely 44lb braid. I would keep trying you got this 👍
i did it with 55lb braid!!

The handbook says spoon and spinner but I've not seen anyone post a video of catching him on either of those.

I mainly catch him on worm lure as said in the description of the video. Tried spoon once but no bites.

@@dsuniverse9576 thanks, I've been trying a worm on a 2/0 jig but no bites after lots of casts. Any suggestions? I suspect he's not in the exact position as the video but randomly placed in that region. Am I right? Does time of day matter?

@Skyebooo he does move around but staying in the spot I show in the video should be good and yes time of day does matter. Also you of to try the corn/ artificial corn on bottom rod now and then. Honestly this is the toughest legendary in the game so not a easy one

Sorry to hear but it sounds like you haven’t tried the corn/artifical corn yet on 2/0 to 4/0 hook bottom. All in the description of way you can catch him
