I started my car, tears in my eyes. This song was playing on the radio. You see, I just left my brother in the cancer ward. Just days left in his life. The three of us joined hands, me, my brother and his wife, we prayed and gave thanks. After the "amen" I kissed his fuzzy forehead, and just managed to say "this isn't good-bye, its see you later," knowing eternal life means an eventual reunion. I sat in my car sobbing, as I listened to the words. Assured that this is not only an invitation, but also a picture of us joining our Savior at his banqueting table. And I heard in that moment the Savior saying to my brother, come to my table, sit down and be set free from this terrible cancer. Come join all those who have been redeemed. Come and be with your Savior. Come to the table. "But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep " 1 Thess 4:13-14 “The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son." Matt 22:2

Matthew 18:10-14 and Luke 15:1-7 both tell us that no matter where we run, He is there waiting for us to turn back to Him! And what a joyous occasion when we do! They threw a party for you in Heaven the day you turned back to the Lord ❤️ I will keep you in my prayers!

I cry every time I hear this song and know it's the Holy Spirit!

My 92 year old Mother loved this song. She loved the truth of everyone having a welcomed place at His table. She would close her eyes and quietly listen every time this played, then with open eyes, she would smile and say, oh yes! we ALL have a place and He wants us to sit. We played this song at her memorial 4 years ago and it still brings a tear of joy every time I hear it. Thank you for such a beautiful song of truth

Thank you for this song. My son commited suicide and my family was devastated. He was in the military and we played this song at his funeral. We also played Soldier On. You started the process of healing and letting God comfort us. Why would God not want my wonderful son at his table. I am forever grateful for your inspiration. We are Soldiering on and its with Gods grace I know my family will be ok. I miss Jacob so badly at times and hearing those words gives my the comfort of knowing he is at Gods table.

“The Lord blesses the peacemakers.” My little brother has served in a number of war zones for the Army but is not saved, so that verse is burned on my brain in the event he would die before accepting Jesus into his heart. I believe our Lord has wrapped your boy up in His arms, not bc he earned it but bc He is a loving God.

Kathrine, i was baptized at 13 (I'm 35 now) and i knew of Him all my life...but I didn't KNOW Him yet...you haven't come to KNOW Him yet...that is GOOD! Testimony: It took YEARS for me to come to HAVE a WALK with Him :) . I went through 12 years of Trigeminal Neuralgia (Look it up...) starting at age 23 and after that, I fell from Him...I thought. I cursed at Him, I yelled, I screamed, I sinned, I faltered, and I failed, all because I hurt so bad, and I blamed Him for everything. BUT, He RE-AWAKENED me, AS HE WILL YOU, because HE DOES NOT FAIL. He brought me to the END of myself, so that HE could REmind me what He started in me HE WILL FINISH. Those hardships? yeah Kathrine, THAT ONE....and THAT ONE...Give them to Him and then.........Let go. It is done. When you confess your sins, repent (WHICH MEANS TO TURN BACK TO YAHWEH), forgive all who have wronged you, and ask for forgiveness, you know what He Does....HE DOES IT. >>>>>>>> COMPLETELY

Yes, we must all come to the table!!!! I know accepted Jesus as a child. Then I wondered away----Christ never lets go of you----He will always draw you back with His love--you just can't resist Him!!! Once you are truly His--and I was, He will never leave nor forsake you. I am so thankful!!!!

This song reminds me of the series The Chosen, how Jesus chose liars and thieves and sinners to follow Him. Sinners just like me. I love this song. I just heard it for the first time yesterday morning before going to church to sing on the worship team. It started my day out right!

I love Jesus so much. I’ve made mistakes and I continue to make them and I stray off the path but God forgives me and tells me that it’s ok you can still come to me your still my child. The fact that God stays by me despite who I am and my ugly side makes me want to worship him for the rest of my life and then someday for eternity in his kingdom. I love him for showing me love, mercy, and compassion always and even in times when I didn’t deserve it, there is absolutely no one like Jesus and I’m just so in love with him.

This song makes me feel like theres hope in this world. Theres hate everywhere nowadays.. If youre a certain gender, race, religion, or view you get a target on your back. I want a world where you can be anything you want and you wont get backlash. If youre muslim, indian, etc, youre greeted like everyone else. If youre female, male, transgender, etc, youre treated like everyone else. I _need_ that world

Our God knows we will stumble and that there was only one who was PERFECT! I am working hard on the forgiveness of myself and those around me. I so wish I had known our caring, loving, and forgiving God of grace much sooner, but I am truly glad that He found me and welcomed me with open arms! Love the prophets!

Sidewalk Prophets are awesome one of the coolest Christian bands around. Great sound and melodies coupled with clear meaningful Christian lyrics make this band one of the best around these days.

What a powerful message! I’ve heard this song many times but seeing the video brought me to tears. It showed me that people feel so lonely in their struggles and we as Christians have to remember how lonely we felt before we were saved from our own mess! We need to be more accepting and less opinionated of what people are going thru. It is only by the grace of God that I am what I am today. I am no better than anyone else!

I love the symbols of ascension to the room and the joy of everyone being together. It’s a beautiful representation of our Savior’s invitation to come unto Him and His perfect love available to all.

Words spoken are mere opinion or argument, whereas words sung speak to the soul. Music is a gift of God, and that's why such words have a great impact on you. We sing to Him in praise, and He sings to us in love.

We were planning on our churches Last Supper Drama earlier this year as we were discussing things I heard this song in my head over and over so I went home and searched it. When I listened to it I was like wow what an impact and what a perfect altar call the Lord have gave me. I told the pastor about it and he was like yes for sure. The first drama was on a Saturday Evening. I was an actor in the drama potraying the Roman Centurion Soldier. I was standing at the back of our fellowship hall when the pastor made the announcement it was time for the altar call. When the couple started the song I was witnessing the Holy Spirit as something I have never witnessed in my 60 years God has blessed me with. People were leaving their chairs and some were even running to the altar. I couldn't do anything but cry and to be thankful for what God was doing! Just Amazing!

To think the Lord prepared that table for me from the beginning of all time. I was always meant to sit in that seat he prepared just for me. Thank you,Lord, for the invitation, what a feast it is.

He has used me a vessel to get my brother sober who was pronounced dead 2 times he got hooked on meth and heroin while I was in Florida . God brought me back to my hometown to be by my brother who lost all hope and had no idea where to turn together with Jesus by our side . I slept by his bed to get him to sleep had to fight run off people had to get down in the muck with my brother and with God after about 8 months he is clean sober owns his own business and attends church regularly.. All power in our Lord and savior amen...

When I first heard this song I fell in love with it ! It has been on repeat ever since and each time I listen to it , it speaks a different message each time and I love it ! ❤️

This is the time in my life where everything seems to be turned, upside down inside and out. This reminds me that the saviors arms are truly around me, and is all you have to do is let him in. I’ve been struggling with personal issues just a sign of my age I guess realizing that I’m not getting any younger. I sit behind the wheel of a commercial vehicle and it seems like my life is going nowhere. It’s extremely hard these days to make a living but when I listen to this song and brings me up.

I've always believed in God, but when I lost my big brother when I was 12 (I'm now 23) but when I lost him I lost all hope and about 8 years later I started smoking weed and drinking but God was always there for me and I always thought about him and pray as much as I could, I'm recovering from weed and it's hard but I chose to do it so I can walk with God clearly and know that's he's here for and that he will eventually help me with anything he thinks I need

When this song came out I had a dream of Jesus sitting infornt of me across a table. In the background was a brick wall ..... The most understand face and these blue crisp eyes, so amazing then I woke up and this song came on when I woke up

This is one of the most amazing songs ever. How it speaks volumes to my soul. The Grace of God comes through loud and clear in these lyrics. Thank You God for reaching out to us. Thank You God!

When I met my wonderful husband he was a very violent man, drugger, alcoholic, street fighter, liar, deep in the occult womanizer and cheat! He also was an awesome Guitarist (still is) and singer in many Rock Bands. He hated life and lived in a 'fantasy world'! My girlfriend and I took him to see a Christian recording star. Joe related to him, stood up when the 'salvation' call was given. He cried and asked Jesus to come into his heart! He saw and heard 'demons' come out of him and was so gloriously 'Saved' and filled with Holy Spirit! He is mightily used of God! Joe 'came to the Table' of the Lord.. 41 years ago calked to be a Preacher. Joe has led countless souls to Christ! I just had to testify of the 'reality' of God's Mercy, Grace and transforming Power to change and deliver 'anyone' who honestly wants to be Saved! Praise God! Love you all! John 3:3-17.

Acts 3 : 6 came to me when I heard this song :) . Let's go out and invite others to this table which Jesus set for us ! :)

This is a beautiful song! I really like the meaning of the song and it is what the Bible says!

I was going to sleep and I heard this song on my radio. I love this song and yes I will come to the table to be set free. I thank God for all His loving kindness and all He's done for me.

When he sings about the many polar opposite demographics who are welcome I am reminded how great God is. There is enough room for even the most different people around God's table. My God is accepting and understanding.

I absolutely love the lyrics! It’s fantastic and the reality of what the Church really is. Beautifully broken and restored through Christ!
