And these digital apps all produce a homogeneous look, similar to PhotoShop…and now AI.
Sad that they had to leave the traditional way they all loved to go digital. Now they just sit in the dark behind a screen... pretty soon AI will replace them all.

i would bet most of them still sculpt in clay in their spare time. There are still lots of companies that make figues and use clay. Its just another option, nothing sad/wrong with it. I am a 3d sculptor myself and I still use clay at home to sculpt. Both mediums have their strengths and weaknesses, but the computer has some advantages that are amazing. 3d software is just another tool.
