Side Window Installation Camper Van - Dometic S4 into Crafter (ENGLISH VERS./ SUBS)
Hello dudes,
this is our first video about van conversion / expansion.
It's about installing our first two large side windows.
We install two Dometic Seitz S4 hung hinged windows.
We hope we can give you some advise or tips if you are just starting to expand, or is thinking about it.
This is not a 100% guide!
We only want to provide help and suggestions on this topic.

Thanks for the vid, even though I am late to the party! I received my two S4 windows just today (800 x 350 x 26 - from eBay seller). Mine are going into a Harker EDC wedge shell camper - sides are 1/8" aluminum sheets. Years ago my Norstar truck camper had them and finding them in the correct size for $205 USD was perfect. I'll cut with saber saw and use Sikaflex 221 for adhesive / sealant. Fingers crossed, since cutting holes in a vehicle / camper can be stressful.

Beim Ausschneiden der Fenster in der Karosserie schreibt Dometic normalerweise einen Radius von 12mm vor.( für die Fensterecken) Das bedeutet die Bohrung müsste mit einem 24mm großen Bohrer gemacht werden.

Zugegebenermaßen haben wir kaum ins Handbuch des Herstellers geschaut.^^ Wir haben es die Ecken der Fenster mit der Luftsäge ausgeschnitten - zuvor natürlich mit unserer Holzschablone angerissen.

It's from "Würth": Klebt + dichtet (bond + seal)

You shouldn't use angle grinder for that :(
