Awesome catch!!! Were you on holidays? I find these trucks in Italy really fascinating; they're so different from your typical side loader in the US, Canada and Australia. Looks like there are a lot of different parts associated with this lifter system though, sort of complicated, but very cool to watch - particularly the lid opener. Also do you know what that small red and white bar is for that lowers just before the revs kick off?

The bar acts like a temporary gate to prevent people from getting too close to the moving parts. It’s like a railroad crossing gate

@MrMalzahn Well you thought right! :D I guess you see way more rear loaders than side and front over where you are hey? Don't seem to see these trucks around too often anyway, very popular in Italy I've noticed.

@MitchellM15 well i was working on a congress in venice and took a few days off afterwards. but i have to tell you that i know nothing about these trucks, sorry. i'm more into rear loaders and thought "man, you better film this one for your friends on youtube".
