    As a Tenpai player, droplet is useful against Yubel. If you have meteorburst/trancent dragion, you can use droplet in the battle phase so you can kill them without them floating into another yubel body

    Droplet's actually just good in general I think people forgot about Varudras and the Unchained package. Droplet/Dark Ruler deals with those easily

    I think the mirror force works only if Tenpai has only one monster. If you use mirror force on the first monster’s declaration, they can synchro into Bident in defense mode, revive the level 3, declare another attack then synchro it off for a level 10 like Transcend Dragion and revive Bident. Might be enough for game.

    You over estimate how good Bystials and Steal cards are against Yubel. You can bystial off the Lotus early so we don't get it end phase. But that's just 1 interaction, and we have anguish to use your bystial to link climb, so it actually helps more than it hinders us. If you bystial too late, say end phase to stop the lotus, then we usually have Caesar to negate the summon anyway. Lotus is pretty much the only good target, since everything can be recovered from banished anyway. It's why we used to main deck shifter. Stealing Yubel only hurts if we have the eternal favourite trap, but more people are cutting the trap. We can still super poly full board wipe if you have Yubel on your side of the field, and if you link off yubel, then super poly for 2 is still super poly. But tbf Stealing is kinda impactful cos we have multiple boss monsters now. As long as you can bait out the omni negate, then you have some pretty good steal targets. The problem is baiting out that omni negate, which we usually use last since we have so many other interruptions.

    Bro Yubel boards are Varudras, Unchained Rage, sometimes Apollousa, Yubel guys etc, droplet is quite decent, even good Not really sure which version of Yubel u'r thinking and how you really think the power level of a card (just the card alone, the card combined with Handtraps/other breakers, the cards against the opponent full board, against the semi-board)

    Hey, honest criticism here. I think that part 1 of this guide was absolutely brilliant, especially because I only just started playing ygo again and I don't know the format. But I do feel as though this guide, especially the follow-ups, were rushed. You're both obviously good players, but guides like this feel like their target audience are people who haven't played the format as much, or even beginners to the game in general. And yet, those are the people you are doing a dis-service to by rushing it. Had I not read the comments, I would have walked away from this video thinking droplet is bad against Yubel, or that the Tenpai field spell gives immunity in opponent's main 1. Your explanations sound entirely reasonable to someone who is clueless like me, and complete non-sense to ppl more experienced with the MUs. I reckon these are honest mistakes, and there's definitely valuable information to be taken away from the guide. I just wanted to say that forming a guide off of your own experiences is fine, but I feel as though had you done more research, you would have realised Yubel now has access to an omni-negate which appears to be a great droplet target, as an example.

    It has been mentioned a couple times already, the information is mainly useless. However I want to point out some things mainly for amateur players that watch this video as preparation for events and don't have the time to go very indepth by testing the format by themselves: 1. This video does not discuss whether you should play Boardbreakers over handtraps or mixing them. In the format mainly handtraps are played for good reasons (not going indepth here). There are some considerations why you prefer playing boardbreakers or mixing them. This video gives the illusion that cards are good against certain decks, while they mainly say you can use it or you can't use it. If you are diving in Main Tech Choices or Siding Patterns you probably can't rely on this guide. 2. I'm missing more information about the interactions if you pair certain cards. Let's say you add Bystials and Evenly against Yubel (not discussing if it's effective or not here). You stop gravesquirmer and they can't make varudras. So you can in theory evenly them. However Bystials conflict with Evenly. 3. Points of interactions are poorly explained. So let's say Bystial vs Snake Eye Variants (not discussing powerlevel here as well) . You have the choice between Diabellstar or I:P. But it's not a hit the first one imo. If you lose against Apo, you can go for Diabellstar if they go for Selene and it makes their play weirder. If you lose harder against S:P you probably go for I:P. However, the deck does not instantly lose vs Bystials. If you handtrap them earlier the lines get different and there's a chance the I:P never hits the grave... Conclusion: if you are well prepared in the format this video is not for you, it lacks information. I guess that's where most comments come from. If you are not so deep in the format the given information is misleading and i would not rely on it.

    How are evenly, cosmic cyclone and lightning storm/duster good against Yubel when it literally put an omni-negate in varudras. Also droplet is literally the best out to Yubel's board with Super Poly. This guide is kinda bad ngl

  • @adragonssoul5200

    @adragonssoul5200

    If you can bait the Varudras, Evenly can be game winning ngl. Though it is about getting to that point. But yeah Droplet or Dark Ruler is insane against the deck, did it twice to a Yubel player and I lost one of those games just because I got OTKed next turn from Nightmare Pain, oof. But the other one I completely took from them.

    @@adragonssoul5200 by that logic you can bait every single omni-negate of every single deck and say "evenly is good against this deck". This is not how it works. The point is: "are these single specific cards good against this specific board?", which, for the case of the aforementioned cards, are not.

  • @adragonssoul5200

    @adragonssoul5200

    There's a big difference between a single omni vs multiple (which is a lot harder to force an Evenly through). And regardless you have multiple other cards in hand to work with against their board, not just Evenly.

  • @n3kuzya

    @n3kuzya

    2 ай бұрын

    @@adragonssoul5200 the point is about a *single* card being played being more or less impactful against a specific board than others. A *single* card, not other cards, a *single* card. Is *just* evenly/lightning storm/duster/cyclone impactful when activated in relation to Yubel's board? No they are not. By the same logic, I can bait every single interaction a board has, using evenly as the last card and say "yeah evenly is good against this deck". It's about the *very single* card against a deck's board, not a combination of them.
