Sibson, Leicestershire, St Botolph - the ring of six bells.

Prior to 2007 Sibson had a ring of four bells. A bell from a redundant church in Leicester and a bell ex-Kettering were added to complete the ring. The Keltek Trust donated the ex-Kettering bell.

    In October 1977 I was working at Taylors , and was with Bellhanger Ged Flatters installing the newly rehung magnificent ring of four in the new six bell frame. It was only a matter of time before they were augmented to 6... but at the time I never thought it would take 30 years! Nice job :-)

    Our contact was Rev. Annette Read and she was looking to restore and augment Orton-on-the-Hill and augment Sibson. She completed both schemes before she moved to Cambridgeshire; the next time we heard from her it was to restore and augment Little Paxton. A true friend to bellringers!
