A lot of people don't know that this song was written on a night she tried to commit suicide using valium and vodka. She was saved by a phone call from an old friend who convinced her to get sober. The soul must feel before it can create this sort of masterpiece.

I actually first heard it at the end of a Luther episode. Then I found a live performance of it that u gotta see if u like this one. She has on a pink sweater on that hangs to her knees. Anyway if u like this one I bet u will LOVE that one. Its unbelievable. Everything about it. That primal scream at 4:40 always puts me in tears.
I just realized that this is the singer that always has most of her face covered up. She’s beautiful, and her voice is incredibly beautiful.
I still can't hear this song without breaking into tears. It hits me so hard. It's like rewatching the low points of my life and knowing how lucky I am to have come so far.

So damn talented. You can feel her pain in this song...I hope she is in a much better place now. Her music touches millions and Unstoppable is an anthem that lifts so many to face life's challenges
Sia's voice is absolutely hauntingly beautiful. It touches the soul! What an amazing gift she has and how fortunate we are that it is shared with the world.
At the end it sounds like she was screaming 'I'm Alone!' This might be the most emotional performance of all time.

Sia is a truly talented singer. And I say true because she doesn't just sing, but goes further and uses her voice creatively, without losing her technique. Real artist.

the vast control of her voice against the best next of the chorus, is amazing.
How could any human being not be sad hearing SiA's pain. God bless SiA 🙏❤
Wooowww the whole vibrato thing she does with her voice is sooo good, so much vocal control!!! And it’s so emotional and real!!!
you know how technically difficult it is to be able to vocally match instrumentals flawlessly the way she did starting at 4:11?… can’t really think of a more talented vocalist than her, period. the control she exhibits over her voice is unparalleled.

It’s now 2020, and this song isn’t just just the finale of 6 feet, which was a masterpiece, this song is the triumph of Sia just being Sia. It’s absolutely gut wrenching, and beautiful at the same time. The song, and it’s artist, is once in a lifetime. Brings me to tears every single time I hear it. Utter perfection.

OMG this version of Breathe Me is amazing. She is the greatest voice of our time.
It is so awesome to watch her just sit there and sing. It brings out such a unique beauty that one rarely sees in performers. So often so much makeup and costumes but here it is just her in her natural physical beauty and her gift from God voice.

2:24 “Be my friend”. That part... nice!! And everything else.
The pure, raw emotion that literally seeps from her performance means she's singing from a deeply personal experience.
Timeless. I know she's a house hold name now; but the music she made in her early career is nothing short of magic. Pre-Amy and Adele, the collaborations with Zero 7 - just sound better with time. This track was the most fitting farewell to THE best television series in history. Saying goodbye to the Fisher family in Six Feet Under, I still visualise Claire driving away when I hear it. That series, this track and circumstances in which she wrote it teach us that life isn't meant to be easy or 'good' - it's a journey, a ride, a musical instrument that needs to be played. We are here for soul's growth and evolution and even when life is kicking the sh*t out of me, I'm grateful for my experience - I hope you all have something to be grateful for.....even if it's just our mutual appreciation of this track ❤

Sia is sadly unknown by many people of her song writing skills. Her Ballads are beautiful! Sad but also uplifting and hopeful and positive. Me too. You're not alone.
Since the first time I heard and watched the Chandelier video, in 2014, I wanted to know who Sia was... "one sensitive soul recognizes another immediately". She clearly demonstrates that she is a neurodiverse person. So much so that in addition to choosing Maddie, she also made a point of letting Maddie choose all the dance, everything. And then Elastic Heart, Cheap Thrills, among many others. Sia sings with her soul, puts life into her songs and I really thank God that she managed to win and transform her sad stories into such beautiful songs. Lov u Sia.
Just found this about 6 years late. Man, she is absolutely amazing! I knew she could sing, but damn....

@@kennethrusI wouldn’t say it’s a mistake, she actually made that decision because she got frightened of facing an audience at a point in her career. Even though she was late to covering her face she still decided to do it because she wanted to remain unknown and let her voice send the message for itself. Not only that but she feels better and more confident when she covers her face, she doesn’t have to worry about the consequences of how the audience feels until she ends off the song and gets a reaction. She misses the audience but at the same time she understands that her performance matters more.
