To lose a life partner so young must have been heartbreaking and so hard to deal with and try to go on living a normal life without your partner. Your grief must have been overwhelming so to decide to adopt a shelter dog to share your life with was both brave and life affirming!! You made a very good choice and found a special dog that suits you perfectly !!! The bond between you is so precious and strong and I hope you share many happy years ahead together!!! 🙌🏻❤️❤️❤️

it was very touching to see and hear this story .. a wonderfully happy ending for sure!

I understand what she said at the end. If it was not for my 6 month since pittie rescue I would be gone by now because of my poor mental health and being alone all the time except weekly at my psychologist. She will not throw me away like most, including 2 doctors have done. I'm glad she has her doggie to give her strength.

@@artimidz3451 that's why many therapists encourage that. I know in the ER they usually as if I have someone at home before the release you. They are always glad to hear I have a dog.

We rescued 3 pitties from a fighting situation. The best babies ever. Emotional and physical abuse was hard to overcome but we made it. They are covered in scars. Now they live their best life❤❤❤

So glad she came into your life when you lost your partner. You clearly needed each other. When my husband of 32 years died, I felt my purpose was to take care of our two cats (we had no children). When both perfectly healthy cats died 8 days apart, within 6 months of his death . . . I was at a loss. After about 4 months I adopted a feral mother cat and her kitten because I needed someone to love and another living thing in the house to offset the grief that lessens but never really goes away. The Mama cat was a Kung Fu Master and I got a lot of laughs watching her train her son in the Art. I must say, he ended up twice her size but she can still take him down. 😽 😺

God makes sure we’re taken care of in one way or another during our grief. My furbabies are often what gets me out of bed after I lost my wife. I love them with all I have to give and they return that love whole heartedly.

Condolences 💐 Malcolm,sorry for your loss. 🙏🏻🙏🏻 I understand where you’re coming from,I lost my domestic partner in September. My two dogs 🐶 🐕 keep me going just like you stated,getting up and out walking🚶🏻‍♀️them. I don’t know what I would have done without them,they are a blessing to me.
