Thank you all for your kind words. I have no formal training in teaching, I simply love photography and get a huge kick out of helping others to do the same. Thanking you for your support which is very much appreciated. Paul.

You are absolutely right! All other such tutors are so idiot that they take it for granted that the newbie knows the buttons.

So true , I have seen many teaching videos but this channel is making such great effort for beginners !!
Although theoretically I know what shutter speeds can do with capturing an image in a camera, your concrete demonstrations, shot samples, and clear explanation makes even a long time shooter like me, get a refresher course on the topic. Thank you Paul for your videos as always.
I know there are a lot of videos out there, but in my opinion, the format that you use for teaching works best for me. I have my camera out and binge watching your videos. I'll probably re-watch these videos several times. Thank you for uploading videos to teach us. You are truly a Photo Genius!!
I first started watching your tutorials after my wife bought me a Canon T7 because your videos featured that particular model. But after watching I realized how well all of your tutorials are put together. Extremely helpful, well thought out, adding more understanding to make even the novice a better photographer. And it’s not just the tutorials themselves but the manner in which they are given. Clear and concise, yet never talking down to anyone. It’s like as the professional you remember what it was like to be the beginner and can put yourself in the shoes of the student. I’ve watched several tutorials but yours are the best hands down. Without these tutorials I’m not sure I would have had the same level of interest and joy. I watch basic tutorials over again so that I make sure I remember the details while looking forward to the next. Bravo!!!
THANK YOU. There is a fine line between teaching and preaching. You good sir are a true teacher. I have learned so much from your channel. What I and everyone I've directed to your channel appreciate the most is the positive instruction.
Thanks for the best tutorials on the web😊
Thanks so much for breaking it down into easy-to-understand bites. I especially like your practical demonstrations and the shutter speed grouping. This is so helpful!
You are god sent for us beginners. You have been the BEST that has happend to me. No matter how much tutorial i have watched no one can explained, in proper detail like you. Thanks so very much. You are the best that could happen to our photography world. Keep it up.
Great information with understandable terminology. Thank you.
Best explanation I've seen yet on helping me to understand the shutter , it' has literally had me frozen in my tracks, because I have been so afraid of messing it up & getting nothing but blur. I've been shooting for over 5 yrs & all in manual. but when it comes to this, I think I freak myself out. I will be watching this again , so I can get it to sink in my ' noodles up top " . You made it sound so simple. Thank you so much 😊👋
Wow, great explanations! Thank you so much, makes it so much easier to understand these concepts and how they actually work. I really have a love for photography, but understanding the camera and how it works has been a struggle for me. I’ve been shooting in auto for years because of this, but your videos are so helpful that I’ve started playing with the settings. This video really so helpful in making shutter speed and exposure clear for me. I feel like I just had an aha moment 😊.
Thank you, Paul. I'm a newbie and haven't got any of the cameras you use, but because you explain things in such a simple easy manner with proper graphics and not take for granted we know the different buttons, that is not a problem. My photography improves every time I go out. So, thank you again.
A GREAT VIDEO PAUL!

Your tutorial video is the only one among hundreds of other tutorials which gives HANDS ON demonstration how to set the various exposure values by actually showing the buttons and dials. Thank you!
Absolutely love this channel. For someone new to photography like myself your videos are a god send. So very informative. Thank you.

Always a learning experience. Thanks!
Thanks for being so clear in your explanation and love this type of videos with examples. Go on this way, please. From Santander, Spain.
Thankyou for another great video Paul, at the start of the video in a couple of your example photos a couple of the skyline buildings showed a pronounced lean. Could you possibly do a segment explaining the cause of the "leaning" & how to minimise it with lens options etc. Love watching your tips Paul, as the previous poster mentioned it helps as a refresher course as well as helping new photographers. Keep up the good work mate.
I just love the way you go about explaining photo. You make it sooo understandable. No mumbo jumbo, just plain fact. Congrats on your teaching method. Cheers from Oslo, Norway 🤗📷

Thank you so much Paul for sharing this in-depth look at shutter speed for beginners! I had wanted to learn how to use a Nikon prime lens 50 mm that was given to me last year!
