The last one meant the most to me. I'm a single dad of two single girls who went from having a million dollars in the bank to flat broke due to some bad investment decisions. Working my way back strongly now, each of the last 3 years have been great progress over the previous one, and it does feel like a miracle... but Les Brown and others like him were ringing in my headphones, while I was delivering newspapers at 3:30am asking "why me?" and feeling embarrassed about my bills, and afraid of the legacy I was going to be leaving to my two girls.

Rule #10 was most impactful for me today. I used to think that I couldn't share the powerful, positive beliefs that I have until I could prove myself financially successful. Hearing Les Brown say that he was on stage, encouraging others to pursue their dreams while he was broke AND still pursuing his dreams is incredibly inspiring! I shall continue on and I will succeed! Weeds don't need encouragement to grow neither negative thoughts in our minds. I can relate to this. Thanks so much sharing this man. It is my first time hearing about him. I am encouraged to move a little further to my destiny and listen more of Les Brown.

Since I discovered Les on here myife has changed. I have always complained, stressed about not being able to make any extra money as a single parent. Thru listening to Les I have started something with the little I have. When I'm in doubt n fear creeping in, I listen to him. I'm daily encouraged n inspired. God bless n keep him. Les Brown rocks!! I just love him. There was a time of great stress in my life a few years ago, when I was so unhappy in my work, and I would listen to him everyday while giving 110% at my job. I look back now and see even more how helpful he was. #Believe

Every signle rule is great but for me #8 is the best cause we all have to keep in mind that opinions of other people can be good or bad bud at the end of the day it's all about what we think about ourselves. For me, motivational speeches are truly what keeps me going. I find it hard sometimes to push myself whether I am low on funds, rather just be in the background and yada. But I know my purpose is greater than that. My favorite rule is #1, BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!!! No matter how cliche this may be. I believe that you are your own biggest fan, and you can be your own biggest enemy. So in order to win you have got to be at the finish line rooting for yourself on this journey!

Someone else's opinion is NOT your reality!!!

I love the last one "Don't stop running towards your dream". A) because of the story he told, b) the 'crowd' who he told this to...looks like millions, c) he seems quite emotional...who could blame him and c) it's a great tip. What a fantastic man!
