Yes they thank God. No one is blaming Mr. Happiness for celebrating his success getting the passport. His problem was using that to ridicule people's achievements in acquiring PhD. That's the difference!!!

The passport debate doesn't correlate with PhD. Passport is used for travelling and PhD is the highest educational achievement which you can use for work/research.... Having EU passport doesn't put food on your table. The reality is, most Africans dont get it , is that, the native doesn't consider you as part of them, even if you have that paasport. Maybe acceptance is a bit better with UK or US passport because of their black population..... The only advantage of the passport is it make it easier to travel to many countries and work legally in other EU countries. At the end of the day, its your educational level and work experience which identify you status in the society. A PhD holder can easily get job and resident permit to relocate to any advance country, as many are looking for skilled workers, and niot cleaners. Please ask the guy how often he has travel with his passport. In the first place, you have 4 week vacation from work and secondly his cleaning job wont allow him to save much to travel the world, so its useless bragging with the passport.

You people don't know anything about koraa. You can be in Ghana with a PhD and travel easily around the world. There are people without PhD in Ghana who travel easily around the world based on their travel records. It is because of our dishonesty that is why there are so many restrictions on us. The few honest ones with good records don't face what we go through.

Even without a PhD, I'm staying. You'd be surprised with bad weather and racism, life in Ghana is comfortable if you're enlightened, earning, content and not poor. There's a lot of brainwashed people in Ghana.

Great interview but she doesnt understand the assignment about having legal foreign papers, compared to a PHD on Ghana. The pay rate for odd jobs in Europe and North America is much more than what a PhD holder will earn in Ghana.... The comparison here is about holding a PhD in Ghana in comparison to having a powerful foreign passport.....there are caregivers here in NY and Canada making more than Doctors with 10000000 phds in Ghana.... The comparison here is, what is the value of your PHD in Ghana compared to what my foreign passport here in NY or Europe? and what are the opportunities we both have living in your respective countries with your PhD in Ghana or foreign passport or residence overseas? Yew a degree may be valuable if you are working with it and there are jobs paying you what you deserve and we all know thats not the case in Ghana .. Lets face reality, how many Ghanaians are working with the degrees overseas? Compared to those who are also overseas doing basic jobs and still making it???? That's the real question then after we get those results, then you will understand that the Ghanaian PHD means absolutely nothing overseas especially in countries that pay persons with high vocational skills and handy work....
