    Marko's strumming technique comes from his background as an educated classical guitarist, as you probably know this date. Many reactors, especially bass oriented kinda dislike his bass playing style. Coz he's not 'tickeling' the strings with bare fingers like Steve Harris or Geddy Lee. 🤘😹 Cool reaction anyways.... 🤘😎🇫🇮💙💯

    Emppu is a beast of a guitarist. But he's extremely humble, he doesn't show off; he has fun, he shreds, but he only does what the song needs; nothing more, nothing less.

    yess...thank you. His remark at Ghost love score was bothering me. A muscician should know that solo's need to fit the song and are not always needed. The "MUST" solo, which has nothing to do with the melody of the song, is annoying in my opinion.

    Emppu does exactly what the song needs in his guitar solos - no more, no less.

    I love this opening song - the whole Wembley Arena from zero to lightspeed in seconds. By the way, I was there - incredible show, that was in my bones weeks after. It's not fantasy, but evolution based on Carl Sagan, Darwin and Richard Dawkins - whom actually was present on on the scene... Great reaction from you 👍 🤘 🤘

    The opening speaker was Richard Dawkins who wrote the book " Greatest Show On Earth " about evolution. Tuomas read the book and wrote the song of the same name. Tuomas is way into evolution and geology.

    The lyrics on this one is about evolution and the opening was spoken by Professor Richard Dawkins. The EFMB album has left behind the world of fantasy themed songs. "Shudder Before the Beautiful" draws inspiration from "Origin of Species" by Charles Darwin. The album title is from the last sentence in "Origin of Species"

    This is Wembley Arena. I was supposed to be seeing them here in December, but the concert has been postponed until May next year. Even then we can't be certain that we aren't in another Corona wave. Here's hoping.

    That was my own feeling too - a catchy chorus, but apart from that a standard song, but then came the middle part, and I absolutely loved it. There is a lot of space for creativity, and Tuomas used it very very well. And the outro is great too, especially studio version with right mix of everything.

    Nightwish surprises you again and again with every song. Sergey, I suggested you this (I think) a few times, but if you can find the time (or a blanc spot on your playlist) will you react to a TOP LINEUP OF MANY MUSICAL INTRUMENTS/SINGERS: The Source is the 9th studio album from Ayreon, a progressive metal/rock opera project by Dutch musician Arjen (Ahr-Yun) Anthony Lucassen, released on April 28, 2017. *_"The Day That The World Breaks Down"_* is a song that features all 11 (quite well known) main guest singers and is taken from that album. Arjen himself is telling (in subtitles) who the singers are and which instruments are used and by which standards. Btw. The clip is 13 min. long and I think you won’t regret it !! Hey long time no seeing you! Hope you are doing well. I think the song you was refering to is Weak Fantasy maybe? Or maybe Yours is an Empty Hope Both are a bit heavier than this one, but I love the keyboards and strings here. The chorus is also great. As for the lyrics, previous albums were more into fantasy, the latest 2 are more into science and humanism, Endless Forms... with the evolutionary stuff and Human :||: Nature which is pretty much selfexplanatory.

  • @Thorgrim247

    And please say "sorry Empu" for your reaction of ghost love score. He made the perfect solo for that song. It is not about showing off, but about the music in it's whole. There are no ego's in Nightwish. Comparing them with children of... r other bands is not relevant. Nightwish made most songs 25 years ago already

  • @Nrde

    I think this is one of the "average" songs of Nightwish for me. It's not bad, but the "special" songs are either musically or lyrically (or in both ways) better. Another thing that does not make this better than almost any of the Wacken concert songs is the mix/recording, it just doesn't sound as good. As you mentioned (or did you :), it lacks "power" in some way.

  • @Meine.Postma
    @Meine.Postma3 жыл бұрын

    Not my favorite of them. Maybe because it was the first song of the concert? Floor's energy isn't quite there.
