    I grew up in the industry everybody I knew when I was a kid worked the forest industry.grandad was a millwright and helped to build Fraser Mills.dad ,uncles ,cousins ,even my mom worked in a plywood plant.pacific veneer.thats my uncle joe rigging that tree.My dad was a rigger too at Chamiss bay on the west coast of the island.uncle joe quit rigging and ran the towers when they came.

    You talk about work.topping a tree all done by hand with an axe.dad would spend most of a day doing a standing tree.ate his lunch up there no sense coming down you just had to go all the way up again.then rigging a standing tree that was work. Some of those bull blocks were monsters.tons and tons of gear to go up there
