Hello, Adlryn; thank you for sharing your minimal gear setup for 2024. Your pack setup I feel is well balanced and complete for just about every situation.

This video was perfect timing. I’m doing the same when traveling. I usually take so much gear, now I can carry a minimalist kit with all the amazing stuff out there.

Ya the mini kits is great. Only drawback is for photographers as this gear is more video focused.

I’ve been thinking about doing the same thing. I’m currently using a Ronin Sc with a field monitor, focus motor/wheel and a few other accessories attached to it. I need lighter & more low profile gear when I’m filming.

I bought the Osmo Action solely because of your channel! It is a great camera! Never has failed.

I’ve gone compact this year too! Pocket 3, Mini 3 Pro, GoPro and an iPhone 15 Pro Max. Covers pretty much every situation while out and exploring!

HLG is better in every way compared to DLog-M IMO...but totally agree with portability.

I’d add the falcam F22 quick release system… makes mounting your system a lot easier! Just mind the x3, there’s a narrower one for that.

Just purchased the Mini 4 Pro fly more via your link. Thanks for the breakdown! I am going to be doing the Camino in Spain later this year and wanted a great drone for that, and think this will be perfect. Any recommendations for props that would reduce the noise?

I really hope they put the Mavic 3 gimbal camera onto a pocket. It’s such a hassle having to bring a ronin rs3

Almost the same setup I've been using except for the DJI Pocket 3 which I'm getting. I also have the Insta360 Go 3. I'll switch my GoPro 11 out for one of the next generation OSMO or Insta Ace Pro. I really don't know how people are walking around with DSLRs and big lenses. I do that for nature/wildlife photography, but everything else has to be light and mobile. I really scaled down before I did a solo circumnavigation around the world and there's no going back.

I have the same exact kit for the same reasons. I am starting to wonder if keeping my Sony full frame around is even worth it anymore. It rarely gets used.

I really want a pocket 3! I am looking forward to when the pocket and the mini drones can have multiple cameras like the phones have now. It will be harder to justify my wife and I carrying around an a7iv each!

Did I hear you say you used a gimbal for your smartphone? If so, which gimbal are you using?

Everyone likes a DSLR in hand. For a while. Then the weight and bulk is a major drag. And travelling is a pita, and security, and makes you stand out like a neon sign. Or a tourist. Sadly for manufacturers I feel we're at that tipping point, started by the smartphone but now action cameras have tipped the scales even further. DSLR is a specialist tool for conditions requiring something extra. But increasingly irrelevant for 99% of shooting. And I hate having to admit it cos I love 'photography' old skool style.

Got an x3 and pocket 3. Just sold my gopro 8 this morning gonna be upgrading to the action 4. Then just need a drone

Great video! I've been thinking about selling my Mavic 2 Pro with the smart controller because it's getting a little long in the tooth. Would you say the Mavic Mini 4 Pro is a good replacement? I don't fly all that often and when i do, it's generally for establishing shots. How is the video footage compared to the mavic pro?

M2pro quality is some of the best. But if you don’t need the size and the need for higher quality, I’d trade it in for size and options like the mini 4

@@FlytPath I struggle with this for so many reasons. For the work I do, quality is definitely important. How much of a difference is the image quality between the two and is it noticable?

Ace Pro vs A4: Watched your videos on Ace Pro. Are the main reasons you stick with the DJI A4 because it's easiest to handle/portability (vs ace pro), weight, potential flippy screen issues? Seems like image quality is good on both. Asking b/c I'm deciding between the two.

The pocket 3 is a game changer. I am using less and less of my mirrorless to capture video to be honest.

I pretty much use the same gears. 😂😂😂

Hey bud...ok so im curious... with all the cameras and always having them with you, you show us a lot of quick clips and such .... how much time do you spend editing on average? That's my least favorite part....

I don't always use all the cameras for each shoot. I just wanted to show you the use cases I would use certain cameras for certain situations. For instance the Disneyland outing, I only used the Action 4.
