Products Used in THIS Video (Bantu Knot Products Different):
Miss Jessie's Curl Meringue
Wet Line Xtreme Gel (Blue)
NOTE: My hair was 97-99% dry in this video (just spot pieces wet), it really does dry with the "wet look". This is a pro and a con for me. While my hair was VERY defined, I have fine hair, so even on day 5... I had absolutely NO volume 🙄
Comment below if you want me to do full video of a wet wash and go with this product!

Hey cousin! Man I commented on that Bantu Knot like that wash and go was 🔥 and it was a dry and go🤣😂. I was waiting like hmm it’s wash day let me see what I’m about to try now🤣😂😭💙
I’ve been doing “dry and go”s for the past four years they’ve always come out way more defined and moisturized than a regular wash and go on my 4a/b hair

Same! Well, I do it on damp hair. It doesn’t take well when I do it on wet hair. I have low porosity hair
I tried a dry was & go before it actually gave me better results than a regular wash & go

I found that too. I have high porosity hair and only just discovered that my hair prefers gel when it's dry. Before that I never really used gel in my wash and go, but Camille Rose Naturals Curl Maker was a game changer. Realised that gel takes longer for my hair to absorb which leaves it hydrated for longer. This hair journey... But I love it lol.

My wash and gos come out so much better on slightly damp/almost dry hair. Iv'e noticed that I get less frizz and more definition also the trying time is cut in half.

Alright can we just talk about how much your skin is GLOWING! Like seriously! And wow your wash and go was so long and shiny! You said more shine and more slip?! I will definitely be picking up the blue one! And this definition is CRAZY! I also felt like I was watching a commercial! You are killing it cousin! Go Amber!

Newly natural and trying to conquer my wash and go’s ! I will continue to try and perfect them . You inspire me.
I love how wetline is protein free. I tried this and it worked so well!
I'm sure you hear this all the time but you're 100% the most dedicated natural hair youtuber on this platform. Your attention to detail and the extensive research you put into all your videos is much appreciated. My natural hair journey has been made so much easier because of your videos. Thank you, Amber! 100 k subscribers is on the horizon :D
I did this today and my curls were so bomb! I used the clear gel though...didn't have the blue one. Works amazingly and that is coming from someone who wets their hair almost daily.
Thanks for stating what you liked differently from the clear and blue wetline gel. I was wondering because I've been wanting to try it.
Love love love it..I'm going to have to try this...I have the exact same type of hair as yours so I am hoping it turns out as pretty as yours did
Your hair is gorg! Thanks for doing this video. I definitely want to try out this gel.
Your hair is BEAUTIFUL!!!! 😍😍😍
My go to wash n go for fine thin strands.. Your hair is beautiful!
This is how you turn a failed hairstyle into a win! Yasss cousin!! Your hair looks bomb!
You put me on to this gel, I must say I will buy this gel for the rest of my life. So long as it's available. I love the quality of this gel, the quantity, the smell & the price. 😍 I think I'm in love lol, & it's soo.. moisturizing with no flakes and excellent hold.
I finally tried this gel and I don’t think I’m gonna back to eco 👀
I am definitely going to try this when I have time!! My shrinkage is atrocious with a wash n go. I absolutely love how this came out so pretty.
Hey cousin love your coils! I have low porosity hair too and my favorite go to leave-in is PaulMitchell the conditioner. I have used it for 20+ yrs. I used it when I had a relaxer and now with my natural hair it still makes my hair soft & moisturized.
Your editing has really taken off since you decided to do KZread full time. Super funny & cute
I went to cvs and I saw the wet line gel walking through the aisle . I remembered seeing this video and got it lol that’s for this ! 🙌🏽
Your curls look amazing!
Crazy, I did a dry wash n go by mistake last week. Loved it!!! I used Eco but I think it will be better with the gel you used.
I've never seen the blue one. I used and love the white one.
Love it! I’ve been using the clear, gotta try the blue version 💞👋🏽
Nice. I thought about trying it when dry also. I use the clear one while wet and it turns out amazing! Will try it this way one day to see if I don't have much shrinkage.
Thanks for the video and my Bantu knots came out the same way😪. Let me know when you perfect it🤗. I’m going to try wet line technique. As always your hair looks amazing 👍🏽😃💕

Your hair looks absolutely fabulous. I used to use Wet Line gel several years ago but I only use Eco Styler gel. For my hair, Eco Styler gel holds a little bit better than Wet Line gel. I still like the Wet Line and plan on using it again since seeing the results of your hair. The only change that I would make for me is to spritz my hair with little water before applying the gel.

Thanks cousin for this. I just did my 2nd WnG using the clear wetline gel and I love it. My hair has moisture, definition and no crunch. I also purchased the eco flaxseed...have you done a dry WnG with it? Thanks for All your helpful info cousin💜
you're soooo pretty 😍
Lol @ the two gels in the ring that was too funny
I was wondering what that blue kind was about because i use the green kind i love it now i got try that blue your hair came out good them curls be popping
When I say I am loving this gel. Listen I did a wash and go and on the fourth day decided to add more moisturizer so I spritzed my hair with water and added moisturizer and then used my fingers to detangle, but when I tell you my fingers glided through my hair with no problem. I then proceeded to twist my hair in about 8 or 9 twists. I did not comb my hair out I just used my fingers to separate my hair and added water and moisturizer. A few days later I took the twists down and Omg I had the Best twist out Ever!!!! It looked like your curls on this video. It looked like a wash and go and was super soft. This gel cousin, this gel is Bae!!!! I am totally sold.

I think I will try this. I have normal porosity fine and coarse strands 3C and TYPE 4 curls and it takes forever to dry without heat when I use gel. I’m tempted not to use any leave in as everything but light oils dries out my hair. Wish me luck and your hair came out gorgeous. Did it last long? Did you have to refresh?

Usually if water is the first ingredient I don’t need my hair to wet wet!
I was wondering what the difference was between the blue and clear wetline extreme gel. Now I have to pick up the blue one because the clear one doesn't have the slippage.
Xtreme and eco both have tons of chemicals. I use aloe vera for my wash and go's. I doesn't flake when I gets old and it keeps my hair moisturized vs using the gel with that alcohol in it dries my hair out.
@FinallyAmber

Yes! I have also found that my bantu knot outs came out better when my hair is relaxed. I've had one time where they came out decent-ish, but my hair was previously stretched (I think I had done a twistout).

2 THUMB'S UP 👍 👍 GOOD JOB
Hey Amber, luv your vids! Please do an updated wash and go routine. Thanks. On a new note, I did a big chop on 8/1/18, no more dreds. However, i have an off topic question. Should i get a professional cut, trim, or none of the above? My hair is very fine and about 4 1/2” long. On the spring, it appears to be 1”, therefore hiding its unevenness. The back half of my hear is 3b and the front half is 3c. Not that this matters but I’m debating the professional scissors. What do you think? Should I let it grow out more or should i wait? Please share your thoughts or if anyone reading this has suggestions holla. Thanks a bunch!!! Keep up the good work!!!

In the long run a professional cut would be very beneficial to you. They can see what you missed cutting. Also they can suggest products to use to keep your hair healthy.

Always Natural Hair I got mine from Target! ❤️
How do you sleep with your hair like this without clumping the curls and also keeping the stretch?
when i first went natural in 1999, i realized that my hair took days to dry and that was problem living in the east coast in the winter especially. When the curly girl method came along she said put conditioner on the crown of your hair before washing. I did that when my hair was straight. Next thing you know, my hair was curly, but it dried really fast. I was like let me try this after i wash.I have been doing this for years now, especially in the winter. i wash/deep con on saturday, bun it and let it dry and then i put my styler on on sunday morning as soon as i get up so it can be drying while i am getting ready for church. Best thing i ever discovered as an east coast cold weather curly girl.
love your videos!! does anyone know what paddle brush was used in the video?

Neisha Tee it’s just from the Dollar Tree lol
I came to this conclusion after realizing my hair stayed softer when I put products on dry hair. Wet styling doesn’t make it soft and moisturized
